people are just babies; they should realize by now that Disney+ dramas isn't for soft hearted people lol. Plus…
I have a farm, and I once raised three oxen. Clean shot to the head as far as I know.
I'm only on ep 1, but there is something called "pasture slaughter" or "on-farm slaughter" which is exactly what the showed in the series.

Does it feels weird that they decided to play the same Wei Qian until the end and the actor who plays Yuan started…
The idea is that at a certain age, someone's appearance doesn't change anymore. When Qian reached that age, they used the same actor to play the role.

Honestly, I wasn't feeling this episode, and I don't really know why.
First, San Pang and Lili's relationship was no surprise. It was revealed in the long trailer, so I'm a bit confused why it bothered me so much. I think the revelation was not done well. The whole scene with the knife and everything was meant to be funny, but it's not my type of humor, I guess. The age gap between those two must be huge, but the bigger problem is, that this relationship seems so childish, mostly because they played it for laughs. I know, their love story isn't that important, and the focus is on Qian and Yuan. In fact, the relationship reveal was plotwise just done to push Qian in a certain direction, to make him see things differently, to understand, that his siblings are growing up, that relationships change, that love can happen. Still, I didn't enjoy this scene at all. I also don't like how they treat Qian lately. They knew he wouldn't like the news, so that's why they didn't tell him. But in general, it feels like everyone around him is now leading a happy and carefree life, only poor Qian is still stuck in his old ways and taking everything too seriously. This is not bad writing, it's rather the opposite, but I don't enjoy it. They somehow make him look like a 40+ years very old-fashioned tired man. Him being sick or exhausted most of the time isn't helping either. Apparently, it's foreshadowing since he has some issues, but I would appreciate it, if they portray him a bit stronger. You can argue, he was strong in the past, now it's his siblings/lover/friend's turn to take care of him, and I assume that's the story the author is going for, but I personally don't like it that much. He looks gorgeous in those cardigans, but at the same time I feel they are going for the old-wife look. They make him look softer, more feminine, which suits him well, but I'm not 100 % sold on it. I don't hate it, I don't love it, I'm just a bit torn at the moment.
Second, and now I'm picky, but there were some scenes between Qian and Yuan I didn't enjoy. Mostly those when Yuan came too close. That was not needed. He did that before too, but there it was different, since he was such a puppy in love who wanted to get closer to the person he admires. This time it came across as some cheap even aggressive flirting, it felt almost intrusive. In general, I like Yuan being straight forward, more cocky, and not beating around the bush regarding his feelings. But I just don't like the physical closeness at this point. I feel it was done for fan service, and nothing else. We will see those guys kiss a lot in future episodes anyway.
So if you think about it: They keep secrets from him, they talk behind his back (everyone except of him knew about the relationship), Yuan now is rather pushy - it just feels like they aren't respecting him enough. Now I said it. For some reason, I don't like the way they are treating him. I was looking forward to the moments when he drops the father-role, but I wasn't expecting that outcome.
Well, that was it. I'm curious what will happen next. Don't know about the upcoming gangster plot, but I would appreciate it, when Qians strong side came back. At the moment, it looks like the younger brother will lead in the relationship, and Qian will become weaker and weaker. Sigh.

San Pang is just an hypocrit giving moral lessons. I can’t stand him lol
I agree with every advice he ever gave, but the relationship with Lili is honestly hard to swallow. Lili behaving like a child and being still so oblivious about what's going on between Yuan and Qian (when San Pang knew it all along) is giving me a bad feeling too. She doesn't come across as very mature. That baby face is not helping either.
This really feels like a grown man has a relationship with a little girl, despite both being adults.

Nice series but something is lacking in the story. I guess it is because of the usual cliches, or maybe because…
You can't be serious when you think that Yuan's character is more interesting than the other characters, meaning more interesting than Qian's character. I agree that Kurt's performance is exceptional, but Qian's character is much more complex. Yuan is just a boy in love. What else is there about him? Qian is the center of the story, with his responsibilities, his decisions, his emotions, his conflicts about the feelings for his younger brother.

The hickey plot ... not a fan. I this a thing in Taiwan? In my country, that's something what very young people do to show off that they are making out with someone. That's not something adults do.
Whatever.
How big is the age gap between Lili and San Pang? Call me a hypocrite, but a potential relationship between Qian and Yuan never looked weird to me. Thinking about their child actors it seemed like there is an age gap of maybe 6 years (the teenage actor is only 14), they are not blood related, didn't really behave like brothers, and Yuan wasn't that young when they met, around 9 or 10. But Lili and San Pang? I mean, I knew it from the preview, and no need to tell me, those two are adults, but ... ugh. This plot opened the door for some good dialogues about how relationships change etc., so yeah, it was needed and fulfilled its purpose, but still ... ugh.
Yuan's cheeky site ... I'm not hating it, but I'm not loving it either. I was hoping for him to keep his cool a bit longer, and to not be so straight forward and take the lead.

Oh, I forgot, the guys of Make Our Days Count had a cameo in Kiseki.
But yeah ... BL had a bad reputation years ago, but not anymore. They can still act in other series, take other roles, but why not doing a BL again with the same partner? Maybe there aren't enough good scripts out there? Louis and Nat from Kiseki could act in any high school BL you can think of. It would be sooo easy to cast them.

Out of topic, but I wonder why Taiwan isn't finally doing what other countries do. They have some great BL couples (Sam and YU, Nat and Louis, now Chris and Kurt), but we won't hear from those guys every again as a "BL couple" after this project ends. Such wasted potential. We don't even get a sequel in Taiwan. Even Korean BLs (they were late in the game) are giving us sequels.

I'm so confused. Now I watched this series, and I see so many emotional comments, good and bad. This was a slow, boring series with mediocre acting, mediocre storytelling, the plot is the kind that appeals to young audiences, It's a bit edgy (but not too much, it must be still cute, you know), we have the bully plot, the trauma plot, those I'm-putting-my-hand-on-the-wall-because-that's-so-hot scenes, the I'm-falling-and-landing-on-you-scenes. I have seen that kind of thing countless times. And before you ask me where, I don't remember, since I consumed hundreds if not thousands of stories in my life. But there was really nothing groundbreaking or worth discussing. I felt no chemistry between those actors, so the chemistry didn't save this series either. And last but not least: I'm so damn stressed by the constant chirping noises in the background when they were outside. Bad directing, bad acting, bad pace, bad audio, forgettable music, and lifeless characters.
I won't write a review, because I see no reason to hate on this series, since I'm not that invested. But I would rate this with a solid 3/10.
Better directing, better acting, shorter length (preferable movie length), better dialogues (who wrote those dialogues, Jesus) and this could have been something worth watching. But not like this.

Woah! That's a big list. I have only heard of 11 of them. It seems there are indeed a lot of series with explicit scenes. I completely forgot about Cute Pie, Check Out and Naughty Baby, lol.

I was just asking, because I don't feel like there are a lot of hot series out there, and then people complain about it constantly. Some of those series have a terrible plot, and I didn't look them up or dropped them. So I guess I'm the one with the perception bias.

LMAO I knew what NSFW meant since I looked it up years ago, but NC- scenes, I thought it just means explicit sex scenes. No idea it meant "non consensual" - now we have a completely different discussion.

Yeah, I hear a lot of them, but I don't know what people are talking about.
KinnPorsche aired two years ago! Recently we had Only Friends, Playboyy, PitBabe ...
I dropped PitBabe, and I didn't watch Playboyy, but I think that's the only one that deserves the description "endless NC scenes".
There was also The Sign, but that series had a lot of story to offer. Then Big Dragon, which I didn't watch, so I don't know about that.
I mean, I see people left and right complain about porn series, what am I missing? Love In The Air was pretty explicit, but that also aired two years ago. On the other hand, there are countless cute and innocent series airing, mostly Korean BLs (I can't even keep up with them), some Thai BLs too.

What's happening here? I tried watching this, but the acting (especially of the smaller guy who plays piano) is so lifeless. Everything is too slow, too nice looking, too boring, faces caked like they are dolls.
Then you have a rating of 8.3, when some really good series hardly get a 8.0 nowadays?
And then the reviews! 7.0 and 7.5 are the most helpful?
What ...?
Is this good or bad? Worth watching or not?
Apparently it's rather dramatic and deals with some hard issues?
I'm lost here. Is it getting better, because the beginning doesn't draw me in. Then some say, it's great at the beginning, but gets worse later? Is this brilliant, but controversial, or it's just bad and some fans of the manhwa are giving high ratings?
????

But sometimes I'm not in the mood to look all series up. YouTube knows what I like and recommends me stuff, lol, so I think I'm not missing much.
But this series almost went under my radar.
