I'm so glad that this series is just getting better every episode unlike some recent gmmtv works iykyk. Also khaotung…
Never seen a character being so sassy in a BL. That's next level. When the guys are "hot" they are good looking and have that alpha vibe around them. But this is different. So confident, so fun, so alluring.
This is a great observation. Ayan attracts so much attention with the mystery that surrounds him that I forgot…
"Akk’s transition from targeting Ayan to comforting him happened a little quick and might indeed not make much sense."
They had several bonding scenes until now. First with the dog. When Ayan brought food for the dog that was the first time Akk seemed happy and relaxed around him. They had a moment in the bathroom where he said the dog is cute. Since he called Ayan a dog before, he may as well have saide that he thinks Ayan is cute. Not to mention that he was jealous of Thua when Ayan was whispering something in his ear, or how he got immediately out of the car when Kan said Ayan meets with his boyfriend. It's subtle, but they make it very clear that he likes Ayan. Can't admit it to himself at this point.
I think Akk is the kind of guy who doesn't want any trouble or chaos. That's why he goes by the rules, so everything remains peaceful. When he stood up in class and supported the opinion of the teacher he only did so the situation wouldn't get out of hand. Not because he really thought the teacher was right. Ayan is a threat, someone that brings trouble and disturbs the peace. That doesn't necessarily mean he wants something bad happen to him. Especially since he starts to like him.
The latest episode was so good, OMG. Fast paced and interesting and full of suspense. I only rolled my eyes at…
Regarding Akk's behaviour: I think that's the whole point of his character's journey. Of all the guys he seems to be the one who is the most willing to defend those school rules. He is the right hand of the teacher. But his views will change and the feelings for Ayan will blossom. Not that this plot wasn't done before.
yea maybe the messaging seems more on the nose than not me bc nothing that bad has rlly happened,, the school…
They should have more protesters too. Imagine like 10 or 15 people. It would be a threat. But only 3?
About the school: I don't get it either. But we can agree the whole school prefect thing, making rounds to control if nobody is smoking or using their phones is weird. In general it seems new knowledge isn't accepted, only the old one in textbooks. Asking questions or interpreting things differently is also not allowed. It's not an environment that inspires people to think for themselves, to be critical or creative.
Last but not least: When you don't fit in, they fight you. That's strange. Ayan didn't do anything bad until now, and they want to get rid of him just because he seems like trouble.
Okay. I will try to be fair since it's just episode 4 and I'm not expecting miracles. But why do I feel these…
I think I have never seen such a BL couple. Their personalities, characteristics and interactions are very unusual. So despite some troupes like accidental kisses etc. this feels very fresh.
Tbh, I thought I'd hate it when I saw the preview, but I really didn't for some reason. But you're right, this…
It was executed well. Ayan's reaction was too cute. Didn't expect that. It really felt like an "accidental" kiss. It seemed like they both were thinking "what did just happen?"
And the hug too. Ayan was so sassy. Who wouldn't love this scen?
Khaotung is killing it. He is sassy, sexy, funny, sad, vulnerable and strong at the same time. Most importantly though: he has such a soft and likable aura. Don't know if it's just good acting or it's the charisma of the actor, but I'm impressed. The only actors that ever impressed me in a BL are War, Nanon and now Khaotung. If he keeps that up he will become my favorite actor. Very, very charming. Every reaction, tone of voice, facial expression etc. seems special and well thought out. GMMTV series came a long way with the acting.
Phayu bossing Rain is not cute it's really weird. Phayu is playing with Rain as if he's his property. If I see…
It makes me umcomfortable. He is treating him like a child. That hug was weird. Like he opened his arms and expected him to come towards him. Rain had to take the first step. He directly or indirectly always tells him what he has to do to be a "good boy". This is so manipulative on a psychological level. The power difference between those two is not cute. It's concerning and makes me sick to my stomach. DROPPED. But others may enjoy it, lol.
It sells. It always sold. And it will always sell. So any complaining is futile.
I never said they shouldn't complain. But it's indeed futile. I remember when I was around 20 years old, I read a lot of fanfics, and only the trashy ones got any attention. It made me furious! Why? Because I was a writer myself, and I wanted to tell a proper story. Nobody understood why I even had a problem with those apparantly great writers and their so popular stories. I always felt like I'm on the battlefiled, but nobody even knows there is a war going on.
So what now? People were ridiculing me for my attemps to write good stories. I have seen many authors writing the same trashy stories, just because it sells. It indeed does sell and it always will. But I remained true to myself, and kept writing the stories I thought were worth writing down. I'm now a professional novel writer for more than 7 years, and I sell a lot of books and make a good income. I learned that there is a market for everything. If you work hard and put passion into your work, it will pay off. On the other hand I also learned that I have to give credit to some of those writers who put out trash. It's honestly not easy to write trash. I'm not joking. Imagine writing such cringy books with sexual assault. I couldn't do it. So I must admit I came to admire some of those authors, and I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. Especially authors who write very detailed sex scenes and put lots of them into their books. It's tiring.
My whole point: Write what you enjoy. Read what you enjoy. But you can't change that there is a market for trash literature. And even if the public opinion tells you that it is indeed trash, people will read it in secret. In German (I'm not a native speaker obviously) we have the term "Groschenromane" or "Schundliteratur". The stuff will still sell when we are all dead.
The luckiest guy in the show is the cameraman during the shower scene 😄
When he undressed and didn't take off his undershirt, I immediately thought the actor didn't want to show his body, which he has any right to do so. But then he did! So that means that the character Ayan didn't dare to be too bold. I wonder what he would have done if Akk agreed to shower with him! But he knew he wouldn't. He is getting cuter in every episode.
Those shower scenes are normally done to please the audience. They are over-sexualizing it, making it super hot, in slow-motion with some erotic music. Not this time. It was part of the scene, since Akk used the opportunity to go through Ayan's things.
