9???? no way
This is most likely one of those series that start out strong and go downhill slowly.
On Love in the Air Aug 19, 2022
There is an immense amount of potential in this. Actors are good, very handsome and incredible charming. Production and especially coloring is nice. Everything looks expensive.
Unfortunately the script/character are lacking. I feel like I know their dynamics. After 1 episode everything is settled. This will be your typical top-chases-bottom story. I still hope there is more about it. But Rain comes accross as very immature. He is your typical little kitten that gets eaten up by a strong and dominant man. Not my cup of tea unfortunately. Just imagine for one second Rain would be a strong guy too! The sexiness, hotness and tension! But nope.

I'm one of the ones that hate Mame stories. But, this series at least looks promising. I just hope the producers…
How Rain is behaving and acting is too childish for my taste. But I hope it gets better. The whole alpha-top-male-handsome-and-cool is chasing confused-hard-to-get-immature-bottom-guy is ... sigh. Well, it was done before.

I didnt notice that. I thought the colors were crisp and clear and added to the overall look. Now I wanna go back…
The scenes at the bar and later in the rain. It's mostly yellow and bluish. Even their skin is yellow. I don't know anything about filmmaking, but there is some heavy color correcting going on. Everything looks too good, too stylish, too clean.

But I'm not criticizing. It looks nice, I guess?
On Love in the Air Aug 18, 2022
This feels fresh and interesting. But aren't they overdoing it with the coloring? I normally don't pay attention to those things, but many scenes are too yellow or too blue.

Call me crazy but if "they did a good job with everything" you wouldn't have dumped it at episode 6. I gave it…
It was a remake. That was my biggest issue. I just didn't want to watch the same stuff again.
On Love Mechanics Aug 13, 2022
I dropped this around ep 6, and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. But I still think they did a good job with everything. It's just that there was nothing new or exciting about this series. I would recommend it to someone who is new to the BL genre.

They are literally teenagers, there's no need for an exaggerated kiss between kids.
Come on! We got nothing. Just move the lips a tiny little bit so it looks at least like a kiss.

I love, love, love Hyun Bin, and I'm sooo happy that this series blew up so much. I also loved Son Ye Jin in Something In The Rain. I wish those two the best. But this drama wasn't to my liking, and I dropped it at some point. I don't see the chemistry everyone is talking about, and I seriously think they make an odd couple in real life too. So hopefully I'm wrong, and they will live happy ever after. It's just strange to me, that you like both actors so much, you like their work, their personality, but you don't like them together. It gets even stranger when they are married in real life.
On Mr. Queen Jul 29, 2022
Title Mr. Queen
I would have liked it more had they gone with an incarnation plot. The guy from the future is the incarnation of the queen of the past. And then in the future he meets a girl who is the incarnated king. Why not? So they can avoid the gay plot, if they are too afraid to go there. Also the love would be more meaningful. Two souls who find each other over time again and again and in whatever gender/body. Would have explained the body/soul switch too, because there is a deep conection since the guy and the queen are basically the same. But nope.
On Extraordinary Attorney Woo Jul 23, 2022
They are really going for the romance. Can't believe it. Good thing she is good looking, eh? Otherwise it wouldn't be so "romantic". And no need to write 20+ comments. I'm not gonna read them. This is pretty low even for a Korean Drama. What's next I wonder. They should add the tag "fantasy".
On Love Mechanics Jul 16, 2022
Those guys are soooo dramatic. They are not selling "being in love". I mean, when you watch a romance series and you're glad you're single something went wrong. Haha! I guess it's just me.

Wow the ableism just jumps at you. You think an adult with autism can't consent to a romantic or sexual relationship?…
Maybe. But not this woman and how she is portrayed. She is too pure hearted. Too naiv. Too child-like. You call it ableism. I call it realism.

Hmm I think it's fine to like or dislike it, but atleast based on what I saw, your purpose on watching this drama…
I think it's an unrealsitic portrayal of a a developmental disability. The actress does a good job, it's more the whole story, the people around her, how she is able to have such a good job with this kind of disability that makes this unrealstic. It's a fairytale. It's cheesy. I don't know what you can learn watching this. But I guess this is just a feel-good drama, the viewer isn't supposed to learn something. It's childish, really.

Lmao are we watching the same show😵‍💫
Someone with similar level auf autism. Yes. Like you see people with down syndrom sticking together. This is a fairytale that only works in the kdrama world. The guy is such a sweetheart. In real life this is disturbing. Imagine you're an adult with adult emotions and your boyfriend has this kind of syndrom. You think this is okay? Then you most likely enjoy having to care for someone, being not on equal footing, having a partner with a child like personality. I'm not judging here. But personally I think it's disturbing.

Lmao are we watching the same show😵‍💫
Apparantly not. I normally enjoy dramas with high ratings. This one rubs me up the wrong way.
On Extraordinary Attorney Woo Jul 15, 2022
This is disturbing. And the most disturbing thing is, that most people don't think it's disturbing. The girl is emotionally on the level of a child, despite having cognitive abilities of a genius. They even hint towards a romance. But since Korea even romanticizes a relationship between humans and robots, or humans and demons, or humans and aliens - I shouldn't be surprised. The cases are boring, and most of the time it's easy to figure out the truth. Are there no good and intriguing K-dramas out there anymore? This must be popular because of the cuteness and the fluff. At least that's what everyone is talking about: How cuuuuuuute it is. Everyone is nice to her. Everything is fine. The world is a sparkling rainbow. Sigh.

i really don't even understand the hate comments on this...yall clearly are looking at this from a very overly…
It's just a topic not everyone likes. For me this is something for the emo kids out there. And I said it several times, I will say it again: there was no realistic depiction of any depression. When you're severely depressed, you can't function like Ji Woo did. The guy got up in the morning every day to work, build up his own restaurant, was interacting with others. This was more about his personality which has many flaws. Some of those flaws weren't explained, and some were contradictory. As a work of fiction it wouldn't have hurt to make this character a bit more charming like they did in s1. Last but not least: Many don't like that this is a relationship where one person has to give it all, do his best and even more, and the other one is just difficult. Seo Joon has to give 120%, while Ji Woo is around 40%. There is no balance. Seriously, the whole conflict was childish. And Ji Woo crying like a baby was really proof how immature everything was. Nothing was resolved. They just both promised to try harder. The gap between them is still too big.
At the end of the day this is a question about what you like, and what you don't like. If the writer was going for this kind of story: okay! The way it was presented, we can at least assume she did. The series has good quality, but not a good message.
