I have seen that too! He takes good care of others. The takes good care of First who can't do much with his injured hand. He is soft, cute, friendly and such a good actor. I'm hardly smitten by someone, but Khatotung is becoming one of my favorites.

But he is indeed cute. He is so sassy and flirty in the The Eclipse. In Tonhon Chonlatee he played the cutie. I was under the impression his real life self is rather somewhere in the middle, but on the less cute side. I was wrong. I want to eat him up. He is that cute!

And then it airs, and it is over in no time, and we have to wait again.

I was wondering if Khao was so schocked because he knew the world is watching and they will make a big deal out of it, lol.

I hope there is no hidden drama. First seems to have a little crush on Khao for real. I have seen him in Not Me and now in The Eclipse. I had no idea that he is so chaotic in real life. This will become a meme: First and the voice in his head, lol.

He was shocked though. He stopped chewing, and you could see how he was breathing in heavily. I wonder why he wasn't more chill about it.

They are saving the Safe House, lol. Such a couple was needed to tune in.

I feel like ep 7 is important. I dropped or started to dislike countless series after/at episode 7, lol.

If you mean with "mature" there were adult scenes (violence/sex) then yes. My biggest issue was how the characters were written. You would think mafia guys are more hardcore, more serious, more perverted if you want. But those guys had some cheesy talk about love as if that would be the most important thing in their lives while killing people left and right. That threw me off. This was too cheesy, too gay (Takhun), too childish. Not to mention that when people died or went missing they brushed over it and were again most concerned about their love life. I thought this was a cheesy love story with some kinky stuff and the mafia theme which was only added to make it more edgy. The emotional depth was not there, which made it not a "mature" series for me.

I'm not surprised. I was unsure what this scene meant. I went back and watched the first interaction between Ayan and Thua. How Thua approached him it may seem he knew him before. I don't know where this is going. But their was some familarity between those three. The mom was asking how Ayan was doing in school. Why do they know each other? But again, maybe this is a cultural thing and just being polite. I was confused by that meeting. They talked so much, but said nothing, lol.

KinnPorsche is worth watching for sure. It's different on many levels. You can drop it anytime. The first episode may be misleading. I loved that episode a lot, and had high expectations. The fight scene was badass and so funny. I think I dropped it around ep 7. To each their own.

Don't ask my about KinnPorsche. Many say it's the best thing ever, it introduced a new era in BL. They can't watch mediocre highschool BLs anymore since KinnPorsche raised the bar so high etc.

I think it's the definition of trash. It started out well, good visuals, good acting, nice fight scenes, good humuor, obviously expensive locations. But the characters were badly written and became more and more unklikable the further the plot went (if there was even any). The first sex scenes were breath taking, later on they felt like fillers. The second couple VegasPete everyone is gushing about was more than strange. Not really BDSM, but what was it then? This was one of those smutty wattpads stories that came to life. I expected a dark mafia series with gay main characters that keeps me on the edge of my seat. I got a mix between The Birdcage and The Godfather where everyone and his dog is gay. Like EVERYONE. Don't know who will run the business in the future if there is no offspring.

He was also okay with the diversity cafe. Kan wanted to leave, because he was afraid of being stereotyped. They are pretty sublte with those things. But I like this approach. I wonder what they will do in the next episode. In the preview a man's adult voice says to Thua "you're too girly, that's why you're bullied". I'm also not sure how Ayan and Thua are connected. They have different mothers, but Ayan called Thua's mother "mom". So what now? Did this woman marry his father? A father who maybe isn't okay with his sons being girly and gay? That would also explain why Ayan had such a deep relationship with his uncle who wasn't as conservative as his own father. There is lots of potential for a good plot, but I don't want to expect too much.

I don't care that they made it a bit cuter and softer. I like the series the way it is. I assume when they do those first trailer they don't exactly know where the project is going. In the first trailer lots of backgrounds seem dark, it takes place in old and rusty buildings. That doesn't make sense since the school is supposed to be prestigious. When they then finally work on the project and look for locations they have to make changes. I also feel like it's pretty hard to create this dark atmosphere throughout the whole series. I don't know anything about film-making, but the way The Eclipse is filmed seems rather low budget. They don't advertise this series like others. Don't know why. But I guess they didn't have much money to spend.

But even if the money is not the problem, I feel they still shy away from doing very dark BL series. The first trailer of KinnPorsche was badass, but then we got a cheesy soap-opera with too much humour and some kinky stuff. Didn't expect that at all. Maybe they are afraid, if they make something that's too different, people will not like it. I know some dark gay korean movies that were never popular. So maybe that's the reason why they are playing it safe and are trying to make it a bit more mainstream.

I like that they adress the gay issue in this series a bit differently. In many other BLs everyone is gay and they treat it like it's normal. Or otherwise they are straight and go with the cliche "I'm only gay for you." In this series everyone seems to have a different attitude towards his sexuality. Thua seems fine with it. Kan is panicking, because he likes Thua, but doesn't want to be gay. So there is this struggle he has to overcome, while Thua has to deal with bullying. Ayan is flirty like there is no tomorrow, but in reality he just puts up a wall. The reaction to the kiss showed that he is not easy at all. After all this flirting you wouldn't think a kiss throws him off that much. He still is confident and fine with his sexuality. Akk is difficult to read. He is obviously attracted to Ayan, but can't admit it to himself at this point. He seems okay with being gay, though. Not like Kan.
