I wonder if you would say the same if LMT was a guy. Why should she rely on CXZ to fulfill her ambitions when she's demonstrated several times that she can do a lot on her own?

I find her actions logical. If you love someone, you won't implicate them in high treason plot.

I am someone who drops drama easily when there's miscommunication or one of the leads is playing hard to get, but that's really not the case here.

I would have been disappointed if the FL just decided to act all lovey dovey with the ML after witnessing the murder of her "brothers". I would also be disappointed if she had just decided to put the ML in harm's way to fulfill her own revenge

Actually, you’re not grasping the issue at hand. The reason she's not getting together with him is not because he lied, but because they are not a couple in the 1st place and because she has other priorities! Hope you’re getting the nuance...

Thats because she loves CXZ that she doesn't want to implicate him in her assassination attempt! Did you notice she didn’t hesitate to involve Ziyu, but had more qualms to do it with the ML? She knows what would be the consequences for him if her plan failed.

God forbid she dares having her own plans and ambitions. Please remember that she intends to seek revenge on Prince Sui and that it's her primary objective. She witnessed Prince Sui's henchmen kill of her "brothers". Is she supposed to just forget about it, follow the ML and live happily ever after?

She was their leader and she needs to avenge them. For now, this is the most important thing to her. She also wants to make sure her maternal family is financially secure!

Unfortunately, it's not explosive.
Heat index just reached 27000, which indicates it's moderately popular.
Besides, from what I've seen, the number of cumulative views just reached 300M.
If I compare it with For The Young Ones which released on iQiyi a couple of days after AYTO, it's 200M less views (FTYO has 500M cumulated views so far).
The Guo Qilin drama that released 1 week after AYTO on Youku also has 300M views so far.

The drama was initially supposed to have more episodes, but they shortened its length to align with regulations. So I think they were forced to skip on some character background

Actually, I am now wondering if there are acting categories for voice actors. I would love for their drama work to be properly recognized!

Dylan Wang (Wang Hedi) was the ML in Love Between Fairy and Devil. His physical acting was good, but I feel like the voice acting is really what made his character so appealing!

I'll be honest, I don’t care about acting awards😂 It's rare that I think an actor/actress elevates a drama/movie (like here, I think ZWY and WCR really added something to the drama with their good acting), but I get your point!

Honestly, I think drama productions should find a way to limit dubbing and try and find a way to capture dialogues live (live recording) during the shoot

When I said she has more on her plate, I was talking of current events. She's plotting to kill an imperial Prince, that's an act of high treason. I don’t anything compares to that currently.
