One more thing bothers me a lot after 15 episodes , why doesn't Fl suspect anything , they are married couple…
For a long time she thinks it's because she's been recovering from her injuries. Then...well they come up with that wild excuse of him "not being able to preform...." if ya know what I mean. 😉😏 From what I've gathered from the comment section, is that in the novel they weren't as "chased". The show is giving a little more consent/green flag energy than the novel did. As in the novel they have a son before she ever remembers who she is. I would have been curious how he would have reacted to HER kissing HIM prior to her getting her memories back. She will kiss him soon, but I wish we could have seen her honest attempt without that back knowledge. At the same time, I'm not sure she would be that bold without her memories just yet. Being rejected by the person you love makes you pause. Testing your enemy makes you bold.
If only CXZ would have talked about their future together instead of their made up past to comfort her/himself he wouldn't have been actively digging his own grave deeper.
She truly wanted comfort/the truth from him. Seriously, the actors are doing such an amazing job with how nuanced their performances are when it comes to restrained expressions. She looks at him in that moment like "Please, please, please, tell me something true. I'll forgive you if you tell me something true." (I now have Sabrina Carpenter's 'Please Please Please' stuck in my head. It could honestly be their theme song.)
I want her to really look back at how chased he's treated her over the course of the months she's spent with him. How sad he looked those last few times in the town before going off to "join the army" aka the two times he's tried to say goodbye to her.
What we, the audience(whom haven't read the novel), are missing is the context of why Lu Wen is the sworn enemy of Lord Huaiyang in the first place. She's giving Robin Hood vibes, but there isn't enough information for me to understand why she chose this path and specifically why she targeted Lord Huaiyang/why he targeted Lu Wen. Cause an arrow to the face seems a bit personal to me...just saying. I hope we get a more clear understanding from more flashbacks/her uncle chiming in. (Did they have to wipeout ALL of her "little brothers", though? Like, we couldn't even get a group hug before Mister Slice n' Dice rolled up?
I thought she would be the problem but the way he reacted shocked me. An only child should not take anything from…
He's too immature and ego driven to bend even the slightest. He is so set in his "man lead, man provide" mindset that he can't even stand for the woman he supposedly loves to treat him to a meal. I sort of get it, because it's technically her FATHER's money and not HERS....but still he can't even let her pay for food without having an existential crisis.
Adding onto Raixzen reply because I definitely misunderstood the assignment. (Also didn't realize how much of a "he fell first" trope kick I've been on recently until going through all my journals, and then alphabetically through my watched list. Didn't repeat any that were already mentioned) 1. One And Only (Chinese, period, age gap, part 1, sad ending) 2. An Incurable Case of Love (Japanese, Medical/Work Romance, age gap) 3. I May Love You (Chinese, orange flag couple, Workplace romance) 4. Our Secret Diary (Japanese movie, teenage, cute) 5. Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Thai movie) 6. Delightful Girl, Choon Hyang (Korean, love the OST, oldie but good) 7. Destined With You (Korean, fantasy, past lives) 8. Doctors (Korean, age gap, Medical, former teacher/student) 9. Extraordinary You (Korean, fantasy, school setting, cute) 10. Fireworks of My Heart (Chinses, second-chance romance, doctor/firefighter) 11. Kiss Me (Thai version of 'It Started With a Kiss') 12. Hana Kimi (Japanese...literally any version) 13. Hidden Love (Chinese, age-gap, highly recommend) 14. Love Me, Love My Voice (Chinese, slow-burn, mutually like/admire each other, so might not fit your criteria) 15. See You in My Nineteenth Life (Korean, fantasy, reincarnation) 16. When I Fly Towards You (Chinese, teenage to adult, cute)

💀not keeping out the poor. But that's really what it boils down to. His parents want a DiL who will take care of them in the their old age and pop out babies while keeping her mouth shut. Her father wants his only child to live in a manner that she is accustomed to and be secure in her relationship. All I can say is look into ANY marriage where the man is "common" and marrying into a wealthy/powerful family. He eventually cheats on her with someone who can pump up his ego. Looking at you bodyguard guy who married into the Samsung family LOOKING AT YOU.
EP 3 (FML to her parents + ML)FML: "There is something that I haven’t told you. Actually I’ve had a crush…
The parents knew he had feelings for her since high school. When he does finally confess to her in the final episodes about how long he's loved her she is more willing to listen and understand. As at the time of ep13 she was still in the practical mindset even though she was really starting to fall for him. He's very patient and never went for her until she was ready to move on from her previous relationship. He never did anything that was deceitful or hurtful to get her. He presented her with an idea and let her think it over on her own.
The "NO" I screamed in the final scene of the FL's best friend on the beach....just let it DIE! As an adult woman...their parents are right and just NO NO NO. Too unwilling to change or compromise it will be an endless loop until she eventually gets pregnant and they continue to fight over stupid things because pride and selfishness.
Try watching Dashing Youth, I couldn't get past a couple episodes. There are so many characters, can't even remember…
Don't know if I'm in the mood for a main martial arts male focused show atm. I tend to stick to the romance focused shows. when I do watch a more action show it's normally modern and a good mix of gender. don't exactly know why, just something I've noticed going over my watched shows.
At this point i'm just here for the pretty people and well built sets cause I am loosing track of all the different sects and bs. They spend so much time with side plots and yet I am non the wiser about what is actually going on. As I don't watch a lot of these types of dramas I'm even more confused and like I need a key to remember all the different titles/things.
Reason number 5,000 why I could never be an actor....I would never be able to keep a straight face while invisible effects "stab" me or come out of my hands. The Jedi hand wave is about as much as I can do without out completely breaking into laughter at myself.
I think only one or two kisses so far in episode 13/14. I'm not 100% but either one hasn't happened(that i've seen...only just started episode 26) or they cut at least one kiss, based off of set photos.
I don't like this moving someone 2 hours away from their spouse instead of just changing teams. My parents worked for the government in the same building(same branch of government) but were never on the same work team. It was actually common to have spouses working in different divisions of the same department. Also why would marriage make a situation worse? The fact they don't have a proper functioning HR department is the problem with this bank. Disclosing personal relationships is normally the way things are done so that spouses aren't put in a superior/subordinate situation to begin with.
Green leaf falling on ML's head at the end of episode 3 had me cackling. Green leaf=green hat...aka being cheated on....cuckhold. I'm going to need someone more aware of Chinese cultural references to break down episodes so I don't miss anything else. Cause that was cute and clever and I feel like I might be missing out on a lot more references/winks because I don't speak/understand Mandarin.
Same reason as episode 9.Original timeline's Sunjae caught the taxi driver too after he ran over Sol. It was because…
What Sachapz said was confirmed by the writer. She didn't want the audience to feel like Im Sol's mission to save Sun Jae early on was futile because it was never depression in the first place. The pills/drinks made it easier for KYS to attack and chloroform him the first time. It was deliberately staged and directed exactly the same to parallel the first death for the audience to infer that it was KYS both times that killed Sun Jae.

Shit's about to get real y'all. Hold on to your biscuits...it's going to be a bumpy ride.
