People not acknowledging the fact that prior to less than a week ago this drama was labeled as a Romance had a synopsis of romance, and then complaining about people questioning where the romance is in a show that was supposed to have romance....are yall okay? The gaslighting in the comment section. Blaming viewers for not enjoying a lack of romance when that's what was advertised....
If that wasn't in the previous description/tags it wouldn't have been an issue at all. Please stop blaming commenters for asking questions when a product isn't as described. And has yet to deliver on plot points with 5 episodes left.
hmm as expected the comments section has turn toxic right before the drama airs its last episodes, this is at…
When a drama goes into it's final act viewers are more able to gage how the drama has preformed. Opinions are being finalized and expectations are either being met or not. There is more information to base opinions on. Also people who prefer to watch back to back episodes have caught up to current release...etc.
Which actor are you talking about? I didnt start the drama yet so I wanna know
Having a PHD doesn't magically make his acting better.
I current have a President that is an idiot and doesn't even know what a tariff actually does and yet he is still some how in charge of running my country.....into the ground straight into fascism. Just cause someone was hired for a job doesn't make them good at it.
So many other things happening and you're still going on about romance. Do you NEED romance in every drama? There…
When I first read your comment it was much shorter. There wasn't as much information in the original comment so I added examples in a separate comment to address the new points.
Right now in the back half of the show it's moving closer to a low 6 to high 7 something as it's kind of lost…
I can see from teasers that some characters we met in the past(women she's helped) will come back to help FL, but yeah I've been saying it since about episode 19 or 20 that they are moving like they have 40 episodes instead of 30.I wouldn't have any complaints(other than some bad acting from FL's father) if the show was in fact 40 episodes.
I'm mad at the writers and pacing of the show. It's moving like a 40 episode drama instead of one that only has…
The women become important later and were necessary to her story, but again....they needed to sprinkle in some time with the ML and FL debriefing or something.
So many other things happening and you're still going on about romance. Do you NEED romance in every drama? There…
K....looks like you edited on an entire new paragraph or two to your comment so let me address some things. And give examples of how to portray romance properly in a revenge story while keeping tension.
Best more recent example is Blossom...34 episodes, slight enemies to lovers, rebirth revenge(for both leads). Tension was kept throughout production. Small moments, looks, acknowledgements, team work, backslides and then progress. All while maintaining 2 separate family issues(revenge) AND royal political plot. Well balanced and paced.
The Double, had it's flaws, but chemistry/tension wasn't one of them. The leads maintained a constant cat and mouse game, testing each other and being each other's willing pawn. But the love and interest was always there....even though the FL stayed laser focused on getting revenge for not only herself, but the for the girl whose identity she took over. We got longing and we got revenge. We even got a somewhat sympathetic villain when we were able to see why the princess was the way she was. You do not see a non-married couple kiss in the ENTIRE show. It's all camera angles and suggestive imagery.
Can't really use Love Like the Galaxy as an example because they were working with 56 episodes of runtime. Even Love of Nirvana 40 episodes long kept a better tension with the leads. And that actor doesn't kiss on screen. Kill Me Love Me....kept the tension better....shit ending but still....My Journey to You....etc. etc. etc.
I really need a good review of this drama because some are praising it a lot and some are degrading it so bad??…
Right now in the back half of the show it's moving closer to a low 6 to high 7 something as it's kind of lost what got me interested.
The cinematography has disappeared and we are left with overacting supporting characters and little focus on the leads. They maybe get like 5 to 10 minutes an episode, if that. It's no longer the solid 9 it was at episode 15-18. There is a LOT to wrap up in 5 episodes and some plot points were completely dropped or have been left to stagnate.
So many other things happening and you're still going on about romance. Do you NEED romance in every drama? There…
Dude....the show was listed as a Romance...in the previous synopsis that is no longer on this page there was an entire paragraph about how the lead couple love and trust each other and help each other reach their goals..... So YES, I NEED romance in a show that was listed as a ROMANCE. This is like calling something an Action film and they ride a bike once.
I know alot of people are mad at the lack of romance, I was too, but I like their little sincere moments, like…
I'm mad at the writers and pacing of the show. It's moving like a 40 episode drama instead of one that only has 30 episodes. aka everything is going to be shoved into the last few episodes.
In The Double it focused more on their team work and helping each other reach their goal. There was more tension and understanding...it was also 40 episodes long so it could be slow moving with any type of romance, and we were given an separate epilogue by production that expanded from an open ending to the HEA the leads got.
Which actor are you talking about? I didnt start the drama yet so I wanna know
Yu En Tai playing Zhuang Shi Yang the FL's father. Every time he's on screen it looks like he has loose dentures the way he constantly moves his jaw/mouth. He is playing a twofaced character but his acting is so poor that it makes everyone around him look dumb as hell for not catching on that he's behind everything.
The whimpering, pouting. fake crying and sucking up is too much and because it has dominated the back half of a drama where the audience was promised an enemies to lovers romance...his bad acting has become more egregious as the plot moves forward.
What do Koreans have in their hair that makes it grow so fast? Cha Woo Min's character used to have fairly short…
A few things could cause this. Filming out of sequence. So possible that the last time he was on screen was shot prior to previous appearances.
Or they have extensions in their hair....or there was a long period between their filming. So they could have shot some things at the beginning of the shoot & let their hair grow & filmed again later in the shoot which could have been anywhere from 3 to 6 months. I would need to look up this shows filming.
I'm starting to get salty about the severe lack of love and trust that we were promised in the premise of this show. They need to start balancing it more, there are only 7 episodes left and I feel like we just took 5 giant steps backwards in Fu Yun Xi and Zhuang HanYan's relationship. Also looks like someone heavily edited the synopsis on this page already. I have one written down that is twice the length that it currently is.
