1. Okay I will have to go back and check those scenes again. The editing in this is half the time on purpose and the other half lazy and I can't tell which one until it's brought up in a future episode.
2. OMG THANK YOU! I thought I was going crazy and just misremembering which girl belonged to which family. I didn't feel like combing back through the episodes to see the name cards of the characters.

Oh it's Cheesy AF, but I needed some lightness with all the more serious shows I was watching/will begin to watch. I like some fluff to balance out the substance. But heads up it looks like the cinematographer didn't bother to show up until like episode 6 so the vibes take a minute to set in imo.

Ski into Love is the only other currently airing cdrama I'm watching. But I'm also watching Undercover High School, The Witch(ends this week), and My Dearest Nemesis. I'll start Buried Hearts once it reaches it's midway point, and When Life Gives You Tangerines later in the week.

Okay so Jiang Si has a called off an engagement. Her eldest sister is divorced and has custody of her four-seven year old daughter. Her eldest cousin(2nd sister) is also divorced after her husband is outed as a monster(I believe she is with her brother and his family atm). Her second eldest cousin(3rd sister) is dipping and dodging her stepmother's match making like it's a sport. And the youngest cousin (5th sister) seems to have been married off to a good man(with a lower political rank but still good), we haven't seen them together after marriage, so honestly anyone's guess at this point.

I just want to know if we will ever see the male cousins that have been mentioned. And also their family is not the best as choosing husbands for their daughters.

Okay, so some of the writing and editing when it comes to how the flashbacks(of her previous future) influence her decisions in current time gets a bit confusing. I consider them spoilers for those who haven't started, but mainly as clarification for anyone that may have had the same issues keeping track of what she did and didn't know at the time of her death.

Jiang Si knew that her lover Yu Qi was the one to shoot her with an arrow and die. What she did not know was that he is actually Yu Jin, the 7th prince of the emperor. She was under the belief that Yu Qi was killed, and she was avenging his death. The irony of him killing her is not lost on me. She does not know he is a prince until episode 24.

Jiang Si doesn't know how her brother died in the past. But she has an idea that it is related to the Princess Royal's daughter Cui Ming Yue.

Jiang Si did not know why her father was targeted nor what the exact circumstances were that caused him to be charged.

She was saved by the "enemy" when she was forced to jump off a cliff. They treated her well, and like family. She does not want anything bad to happen to them because she knows that they are good people who are just trying to fight for their country and people. She isn't a spy, nor does she want her own country to go down. She wants peace between the two nations and until she knows she can trust the people in her own country with the knowledge of who she is to the enemy she's going to keep it to herself.

Also incase anyone missed the one line of dialog her ex fiancé finally bit it. I don't like that it was an off screen death with very little explanation as to the aftermath of his death. I'm sure this will come up later.

Well I'm assuming that he was under the belief that Jiang Si was dead, and had been dead for years at that point. What he saw was the Princess Royal dead in the palace. He's a prince of the nation, and we don't know yet what happened to him after they were parted in the past. But he 100% did not realize that he was shooting the woman he loves. It's unfortunate that he is such a good marksman.

Wondering if I should go to bed early so I can watch episode 7 before work or wait to watch both 7 and 8 on Sunday....I have so many other shows I'm currently watching but I really want to see what happens next.

As of episode 6, very much yes. It's the right amount of humor and seriousness that is needed for something with this premise. I don't think it's going to be for everyone, but it's keeping me fully engaged in each episode. I just hope the writing stays strong. With 12 episodes they should be able to maintain a good pace to the end.

If you go back to older dramas those even number episodes were like the big cliffhangers that you had to wait a week to find out what happened. And once the production caught up to release date it was true nail biting what are they going to change/do. For all the dramas that weren't preproduced prior to starting airing.

I was only in ballet from age 3 to 10/11(can't remember if it was 2000 or 2001 when I stopped) but very formative years. Puberty hit me hard and it was very clear that my body type was not going to be ballet friendly. Lets just say the girls starting girling a bit too much from the jump. Stupid reason to quit, but it was what it was. Still the ballet foundation helped me in all of my future athletic endeavors so, slay.

Going to sound harsh but think of this as technical issues not enjoyment issues. I am confused how the quality of this show varies so much compared to Hidden Love (same director) the framing of a lot of shots seem like afterthoughts instead of purposeful and the editing...yeah I'm already only in episode 3 and am really feeling that 36 down to 23 edit.
There is a lack of dynamic transition shots or establishing shots so a lot of the time it feels like one is teleporting or getting cut off mid thought/sentence(again an editing issue). I feel like most of the budget went into just styling of the actors....which honestly slay kings and queens.

I'm starting to wonder what the editor had to work with if we had 36 episodes worth of footage and yet still can't seem to have 3 decent transitions in a row...

Okay i'm sounding like an asshole, but please tell me I'm not the only one who feels like we jump from one area to another too abruptly. There is no style behind it, no care for detail, just boom boom boom next room.
