Actually, this drama would not be as bad if it were the traditional male in charge drama - but this inversion is far worse (even if it intended to be tongue in cheek). I admit though, I did drop it, so I don't know if the FL ever changes.

Can anyone who has seen episode 28 please give a spoiler. For some reason it has not 'appeared' on the platforms where I might watch it. Thank you. Edit. It seems that I am not the only one looking for this elusive episode. I thought that MDL might have the wrong information, but I have just checked WeTV and they show 28 episodes.

Which episode is that? Do you mean Ep. 28 - which I cannot find? (It might be out later today on the platforms where I would watch it.) Because ep 27 only wrapped up the the palace part.

Well yes, I do agree with that part of your assessment. Even my favourite Vulcan has more emotions (but then he's half human - but I think that you'll get my point.) What I meant was that although I don't understand much Korean, I have been listening to it for years and the cadence and the speed of her speech don't 'seem' to be that jarring to me . (I admit, though, that THAT doesn't mean that they aren't.) However, as I am used to hearing voice actors (some good, some bad) in Chinese historical dramas maybe I am inured to that aspect more. Also, I might miss certain nuances when I am trying to read the subs. (It is worse in Chinese dramas, because I spend my time trying to read the Mandarin when it's available.)

Yes. What you say is true on all counts - especially the part about the CP wanting to use her but (in case you thought otherwise) I was not judging any of the actors - only the characters. There are many people on this page who have been quite scathing in their attacks on the 2FL - but I am not one of them. I have even stated elsewhere that I don't understand what is so bad about her (compared to the average actor). And even if she is a bad actress there is no need to vilify her.

I like the way that she prodded his private parts! Its the first time I have ever seen that in these (usually Chinese) body-swap dramas. It must be very tempting to explore the new body.

In ep. 4 do I see the beginnings of a change in her - now that she has alienated the prince? Maybe she will grow and become a better person especially now that the ML knows what she has done but 'lets her off' for the sake of the second ML.

Well, if this drama follows the usual formulae, he will prove it and come out on top.

I am not a dancer - unless you call early childhood ballet lessons dancing - but I do recognise dancers when watching fight scenes in Chinese historical dramas. I understand what you are saying about the differences that you cite - I was just trying to understand why many people have made quite insulting comments about her. To me she is no better or worse than many average or even mediocre actors. Given that, what makes her so bad compared to these?

Because this poster is (probably unconsciously) using rhetoric in an attempt to qualify their own dislike of the character (or actor) - rather than to give a neutral viewpoint about that which they do not like.

Lazy? I can see why you might think that if you have not looked under the surface. But having low standards of cleanliness? Where did you get that from? Or do you not know what a slob is? You clearly do not like the ML because, perhaps, you perceive him to be a coward - but what then of the 2ML? Are you overlooking his self-stated cowardice?

You seem to be the only person here who not only has not criticised the actress herself but also likes the character. (I don't understand why they dislike her so - she is neither a particularly good actress nor a particularly bad one.) I agree with what you say about her possible desire for power - but even if she does not consciously desire it, we have seen that she is ruthless and does not care who she kills to get what she wants - not someone that I would root for. I wonder how the ex-crown prince will react to her if he discovers that she shot the ML. (From what we see in the beginning they have a good relationship which they keep hidden.)

It doesn't sound foolish at all - it is a valid psychological response personal to you. (Not that I agree, or disagree, with you in your assessment of the two actresses in question.)

That's not fair on the 2nd ML though, is it? I was hoping that he would not (as in the usual trope) be the second prince vying for his brother's death. (Are they related?) I am prepared (at this point) to give him a chance as he genuinely seems to like the ML.

I'm glad that somebody else noticed that. I don't know if it had a double-barrel (I didn't pay much attention) but if it wasn't, there were 'superimposed-load' pistols to be had from Europe which could have allowed her to shoot twice. Reload time for an expert didn't take too many seconds, though. I shall have to rewatch that bit.
