I might try the original because right now (ep5) the characters feel more like parodies to me. His possessiveness…
Please...I'd hardly describe it as "miniscule". The females I know would knock him flat for that shit - it's way over the top, especially for KDH who is by no means some passive, emotionally-damaged damsel-in-distress. Sorry, but I'm not seeing the "chemistry" here. But thanks for the heads up regarding the original.

I might try the original because right now (ep5) the characters feel more like parodies to me. His possessiveness borders on the offensive and is so farcical it's killing the chemistry and comedy. He's supposed to be an ass****, but I'm having a hard time understanding how any female would find this cute or endearing, unless she has zero self-esteem (she has plenty) or is a gold-digger (she isn't). I'm just aching for her to answer his wrist dragging with a TKO slap. I much prefer the premise of 1% but find Jin's character in Drinking Solo more organic. Continuing on...

I really hope that if I ever have a Near Death Experience my visions of greatest happiness won't include eating at Subway...And the Serin gas thing AGAIN!? >_> The action sequences were good though and Anna NAILED the C9 scene - first one that really felt palpable to me.

The whole political plot in this drama is boring and feel rigged. Noooo turn those lights off
If anything is 'boring and 'rigged' it's the romance not the political plays.

13...hands down the best ep so far, imo. Rin_kun definitely stepped up his game here - great layering of human drama (graveyard scene was fantastic) and political maneuvering. The suspense was far more gripping and really put the full potential/talent of the actors on display. And finally JeHa using brain over brawn! Hoping the show continues down this path...

What bugs me is that Jeha is the main character...but has some of the weakest writing in the show. Honestly, I wish his backstory was completely different, Anna was left out entirely, and K2/Yoojin were the central focus of the narrative. It might have been more believable/compelling, and with Wookie/Song's acting talent, made for one of the hottest action/romances ever. Not that it hasn't achieved some of that already, but I often wonder what could have been...Just .02.

ughh... I can't take Anna. Girl, your mother was addicted to drugs, and now the man you call uncle tries…
Good call - I'm thinking that too. Anna would score big points with me if she performed Master Song's ninja nut-kick on her "uncle". If nothing else he'll stop laughing lol [I like the actor though].

The plot is totally different from Healer, why are people comparing these 2 dramas?
Because Wookie's abs lol. Healer>>>k2 on characters, story, and romance imo, but K2 easily wins on action.

Whoa...that slap :/ Aside from the obligatory 'last minute morality' scene, which I'm sick of, Ep11 was a lot better - even the romance. Let's see where this goes...

So...Hmm...What are u guys thinking about Yoona? Improving? Still the same? Because I honestly don't know…
I don't get the criticism of her acting; she's doing just fine from my perspective. It's the writing she's been given that's the problem imo.

Best scene: Cloud 9 Worst scene: Miraculously quiet, fighting Anna The action scenes must be too hard on Ji Chang…
Yeah the umbrella shot was the climax of the series for me, so far. A scene almost absurd on the surface, but metaphorically, so rich.

Everyone on here be defending and wanking Yoo Jin.........she is a psychopath and a murderer. The actress is doing…
Well, as they say, "power perceived is power achieved". The irony is that we've yet to receive conclusive evidence that she's murdered anyone (if I'm not mistaken). Although, I'd agree that her unhinged willingness has been over-the-top on occasion, often at the expense of logic. Kdrama loves to throw subtlety out the window, doesn't it xD. But imo the bias against Anna has less to do with YJ (because even skeptics of YA's acting have been pleasantly surprised), but rather what legions of us see as superficial, forced, and poorly conceived 'romance' between AnNa and JeHa, which imho, took a major nosedive in ep10. That aspect needs serious life-support to convince me moving forward...

Perhaps, but she's also the best thing this show has going for it imo. The 30sec shared between her and JeHa was more compelling than the entirety of ep10 - she projected a look that simultaneously conveyed "you're an insignificant piece on my chessboard" and "come back to me alive". THAT is good drama and acting. My only worry is that this writer won't complete her character: ideally, with something yet undisclosed regarding her past/family/ambition/relation to AnNa that adds another layer. And even better, would be the prospect of JeHa influencing her significantly by the end.

But yeah, her secretary is scary af. She's more terrifying than YJ imo - untrustworthy, unpredictable, and a murderous ambition fueled by....loyalty to YJ? I doubt it.

The interview and JeHa's brief moment with YJ were the highlights of ep10 for me . But I just couldn't overlook the stupidity of unmasked fighting in nerve gas, or the decision to use it at all WTF? And I had to laugh at Anna's need to be covered by a blanket (how romantically convenient) after single handedly taking out two trained assassins with a fire extinguisher xD. So JeHa has agreed to storm a fortress-trap for YJ...after her #2 just tried to murder him...because of a refugee he never really loved. Having a hard time understanding his brain, or whether he's using it at all. #2's head on a plate, please.

Worth watching?
Its parts range from very good to very cheesy. Watch it for JeHa and YJ's onscreen chemistry, the action (very good for kdrama), and the shots in Spain. The actors are way better than the directing, script, and writing imo.

Ep9 was definitely an improvement. The whole thing was dependent on Jeha taking leave of his brain, but I hope we see more of these strategic power plays and good action rather than romance.
