My brain short circuits every time I see that intense cover pic. It's like something out of Secret Love Affair rather than a lite, comedic fantasy drama lol.

It's getting gradually better but the first few eps are like an OTT shoujo manga, with borderline schizo editing/script/storyboarding. Water God's lines are the highlight imo, even if the acting is pretty subpar by kdrama standards. Lots of dramatic potential though with the god-human relationships/transitions so I'm staying on board.

Pretty much agree. The comedic hysterics range from tolerable to painfully bad. Water God's lines are the only redeeming thing imo. Struggling through ep2. Campy and lite are fine but this is surpassing my threshold for the 'absurd'.

Yeah I find her story line the most compelling aspect of the drama so far, and her acting is a big part.

I hope they don't drag the friends thing out too much longer because it's so obvious they've fallen, even to each other, that I'm beginning to cool off. The chemistry is too hot and acting too good for this to go another 6-8 hours. I guess it's a personal thing *shrugs*. I actually find the 2nd leads more natural. I've worked for corps that expressly forbid office relationships, so I can relate to Kim's worries, and I'm sure the stigma is many times greater in SK.

The OTP have REALLY good chemistry and the ost (main) is very pretty.

As far as romcoms go this is pretty much saving 2017.

I recommend extensive use of the FF button. The OTP can't save this train wreck.
