I'm intrigued by the radio program idea but everything screams mediocre to me, esp the script and really odd comedy. But I liked the 3.5 minute elevator ride LOL - like damn somebody call maintenance.
I would have poured my beer over Bo Na's head. She should know what happens when you work for a rat - shit runs downhill - and that's not Yoon Yi's fault.
OTP interaction and the music/sound direction are standouts imo. Find myself FF'ing the rest. Daniel Choi is nailing this type of character, and this is coming from someone who is borderline sick of them - he makes it looks so natural rather than forced. Good chemistry here so I'm looking forward to it turning more dramatic. The comedy isn't doing much for me.
Ironicaly, the even better "Dream" track came from Go Back Couple imo: Ost 3, Lucia. Track of the year imo. When she makes her son's foot on the bus window......my heart skipped beats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIbW8ImYaDE
Then we both agree on that! I never found since then another opening as powerful and captivating ;).
Yeah the whole time I was watching that drama, I had the op track blasting over my car's Alpine ss lol. And the op visuals were artistic in a way that VERY few dramas ever are.
I remember when this was barely pushing an 8.0. While most fizzle at the halfway mark this kept getting better and better. Ratings be damned; it's good to see this is getting the respect it deserves, here.
That was arguably the hardest-hitting finale I've ever seen in drama - someone is gonna need a spatula to scrape me off the floor. I was just getting rekd, one scene after another. What I loved was the dual role of student/adult they shared and the influence it had on their family and friends, simultaneously the source of comedic, heartwarming, and sometimes very powerful scenes (Nam Gil's send-off in the park WOW). While I haven't seen much this season, I have a hard time believing anything will compete with this ending in the feels department. On the one hand, I wish it had another 12 episodes of material to play with, because with some tweaking it may have been GOAT-tier, but so much was done RIGHT I can't help but to simply say.............BRAVO.

Well clearly it wasn't a good idea, but being triggered doesn't condone beating someone half unconscious (he also saved that kid who was shaking uncontrollably btw), so for the writers to use it as a blame shaming device is a little much for me. I know two people how almost died from getting sucker punched, let alone gang jumped, so her reaction was jaw-dropping to me.
did anyone feel ma jin joo was about to apologise for always blaming choi ban do and acknowledge the fact she…
One of my only gripes is that their marital transgressions felt overwhelmingly unbalanced at BD's expense. It ranged from totally warranted (his verbal treatment of her) to passable (her misunderstanding the motel charges), to eyebrow-raising (blamed for getting beaten by a bunch of punks - seriously?) I also thought that using a drunk and disorderly to draw a 'hardship' parallel with BD was really weak. Supposedly Jin Joo failed to recognize/acknowledge his occupational tribulations, but it felt pretty virginal by comparison, especially considering BD hid them so well. That said, where the content felt lacking the show more than made up for in feeling. Jang Nara was amazing, as usual.
It's the fault of a misunderstanding on the English language sites that had it set for 16 that caused the confusion…
Wow...I knew it's ratings were far from bad but didn't realize it's beating the aforementioned - never would have guessed it because the comment sections are like ghost towns, comparatively. And Beautiful Mind's ratings were miserable lol? I've heard it's amazing.
