So he's back but she's still in the past, why? could it be because of the second lead? or because of her parents?…
I suspect Ban Do hasn't returned to 2017, it's just a dream brought on by his regrets, love for Jin Joo, and absence of his son. I'm wrong more than I'm right tho, and an actual return to the present would be much more creative.
If those dramatic moments with our OTP/KMK/Seo Jin/family flashbacks/etc. keep up for another 8 eps, this is going to be one of the hardest-hitting dramas ever. And I love the fact that their friends are starting to get some development now - that 'insurance' scene at the end was so relatable and heartwarming. I've grown to hate love triangles and competing second leads, but even he (Nam Gil) is bitchin LOL.
I am totally guessing those 4 guys are her actual brothers. I think thats where she gets her bad-ass appearance/attitude…
Yeah, obviously family. He probably gets stomped and the incident is a stimulus for starting to turn beefcake, or at least less pitiful af. I'm also betting it's Jin Joo's mom who executes the finishing move on Dr. Park.
Damn...ep5 brought the feels A game. Gem of the season if it keeps up like this. I was worried for a while but the marriage of comedy and drama in ep5 was seamless. And I LOVE how they're making effective use of flashbacks. So many dramas fail miserably in that dept. Lots of talk about OTP vs SLS, but the chemistry is so good between them all, I don't even care at this point lol. Actors are nailing it.
Omg this has everything I love - 2nd chance romance, marriage, child, fantasy, hidden identity (time slip knowledge), and college nostalgia. The dramatic/romantic potential here is limitless. That scene between Jang Na Ra and her mom was GOLD.
Hate to admit it....but I was totally wrong about this one - it really is good. LMK is nailing it and I don't even like these kinds of characters lol. Hats off.
I loved Choi Shi Won in She Was Pretty, but tbh I'm not feeling his acting in this one... Like he's overdoing…
AGREED. He completely stole the show in SWP, which is why I feel he's too good for the poorly written, ott goof he's playing here . Hopefully his char dev comes quick lol. This setup is a lot like Office Girls (add the sad-sack 2nd lead), but I much prefer Roy's character. Plus, the comedic banter between he and Patrick Lee was way funnier.
The intent didn't go over my head - it's the fact that I can't see him in this role and I'm sick of the robot…
Tbh it isn't him so much as the character. Seen it way too many times, esp with actors whose 'development' isn't believable at all. Fortunately LMK has good chem with his co-stars so I've a feeling I'll like later eps, as long as it doesn't drag.
Unfortunately, this feels a bit like a generic adaption of an awkward romance anime, to me. LMK was amazing in…
The intent didn't go over my head - it's the fact that I can't see him in this role and I'm sick of the robot trope. I'll continue for LMK, but the writing just seems really prosaic so far *shrugs*.
Unfortunately, this feels a bit like a generic adaption of an awkward romance anime, to me. LMK was amazing in Dal Ja's Spring, but his character here seems unnaturally forced. Hopefully he becomes more human and less cyborg quick because the comparison is giving me whiplash.
My biggest problem is it's supposed to be a romance (I thought) at it's core, but I'm not seeing any, just intense staring and lots of juvenile idiocy.
