Title Only You Spoiler
I was reluctant to even start this drama due to the number of the negative reviews and comments, but now I've finished it, I'm glad I ignored the negative comments and watched it.
The bottom line is I enjoyed it. It definitely had some weaknesses, but it also had a lot to like, and it is those positives that I want to focus on first.
* The story was sufficiently engaging to retain my interest for the duration.
* The production was quite high, both in cinematography and audio. I also liked the OST.
* The acting was fine for this type of drama.
* There was quite a bit of comedy, especially from the three body guards.
* The leads had plenty of chemistry, with lots of cute moments.

Next, I'll list some things that some other viewers criticised, but didn't bother me at all.
* There were quite a few product placements, but I've seen dozens and dozens of dramas with product placements, so they don't bother me.
* The lead's intimate scenes were quite subdued and less spicey when comared to some other recent Thai GLs.
* Ayla cried a lot. It's true, she really did, but I wasn't bothered by it.

Lastly, I'll point out some changes which (in my opinion) would have resulted in a better drama.
* The story could have been tidied up and tightened up. The writing was OK, but not brilliant and I don't think 14 episodes were needed to tell this story. Personally I think Ayla's illness subplot should have been cut out.
* I'm really not a fan of noble idiocy as a plot device, so I really would have preferred it wasn't used.
* The fight scene choreography could have been improved.
* Tawan's and Ayla's dads going from bitter enemies to best buddies instantly didn't seem even remotely believable to me.
My score: 7.5 / 10

I didn't like the direction the drama went in the final episode. The "it was all a dream" trope (for me)…
If that is the case, it is a real shame. It must be frustrating for filmmakers to live in a country where administrators who have no clue about their art get to arbitarily make decisions (for ideological reasons) that affect their work. Because I live in a liberal democracy, I just take something as basic as creative freedom for granted.

Many Thai GL shows are available free and legal on YouTube. People should watch them there rather than a third party website.

This drama is much, MUCH better than bfriend.
Because anyone who disagrees with YOUR opinion must be wrong, hey? Because YOUR opinions are the most importantest opinions of all, right? I'll have to remember to check with you in the future before I form an opinion about anything.

I didn't like the direction the drama went in the final episode. The "it was all a dream" trope (for me) undermines the entire drama. The challenges that were met, the victories that were achieved and the sacrifices that were made all become meainingless and irrelevant because none of them actually happened.
My advice to anyone who isn't a fan of the "it was only a dream" trope, simply stop watching at the end of episode 29. For me, that would have been the perfect ending to this drama.

A bit different than the "average" Chinese historical fantasy drama. The story went along at a slowish pace, and in the middle episodes I was sometimes losing attention, but it picked up nicely for a strong finish, except for the final episode that I didn't really like. MASSIVE spoiler in my reply.
Overall a good drama (I'm scoring it 8.5), but not a great drama.

A very cute, very sweet and very fluffy rom com. It has a lite storyline with little angst and plenty of feel good moments and even some comedy. The intimate scenes have a bit of spice in them, perhaps more that what would be expected considering the tone of the drama.

Nattawadee's and Tarradee's acting was perfect for the role, but to be fair, this isn't a drama that demanded a lot from the actors. But I've become a fan of both of them so I'm already looking forward to their future projects. They genuinely seemed comfortable with each other, and of course, they are both ridiculously gorgeous. I also enjoyed watching the relationship between Mai and Fon develop.

It's best to turn your brain off during the whole body swap episodes and just enjoy the story for what it is. But I will admit that I struggled with the thought of them essentially having sex with themselves.

My only negative comment was that I thought that Rey's mother's redemption was far too easy and not really earned. I've seen a few Thai GL dramas where the evil parent just stops being evil for some reason, says "sorry" and is suddenly parent of the year. I find this unsatisfying.

For fans of GL dramas, this is an absolute must watch, but it is entertaining enough for any fan of fluffy rom coms to enjoy.

My score: 8½/10

Then you're just a casual viewer not her fan
I wasn't aware that you had the authority to determine which of Park Min Young's "fans" were actually not really fans, but were only "casual viewers".

I just couldn't get into it. I'm a fan of Park Min Young so I really did try, but it just couldn't. Dropping mid episode 2.

On Love's Ambition Oct 22, 2025
Love's Ambition seemed like it was three separate dramas joined together.
The first part of the drama was excellent - a serious, mature and very interesting story that had me fully engaged. The second part was completely different, basically changing into a fluffy romcom. I enjoyed this part of the drama less than the first part, as I wasn't really a fan of this shift in the overall tone of the drama. The thrid part was mostly a generic workplace drama. If the drama had retained the tone and quality of the first part, I'd probably be scoring it at least 9/10.
I enoyed Zhao Lu Si's acting, and did like seeing her in a more mature dramatic role. I really enjoyed her character as well, especially in the early episodes in which she struggled to achieve her goals in the contexct of her upbringing, and with the constant threat of her lies being exposed. I was a bit underwhelmed by William Chan's acting - it just seemed a bit bland to me. Also, his character frustrated me a lot - capable and intelligent, but with the emotional intelligence of a fence post.
I appreciated the second couple's relationship - it was sweet but also mature. Shen Hao Ming really should take some lessons from Yu Yi Ming on how to have an adult conversation with his partner. I did enjoy watching the journey of the girls overcoming various problems as they built their clothing company.
There were some interesting twists in the final episodes which I didn't see coming and I thought were well done.
Overall, quite a good drama.
My score: 8½/10

Shen Haoming is so beautifully flawed he could’ve walked straight out of a Picasso painting—crooked lines,…
I've finished the drama now, and I'm mostly satisfied with his character growth in the final episodes.
