I really enjoyed this drama. The cases were interesting and varied with some imporant topics being addressed. I though that the pacing of the episodes was spot on and the acting was excellent. I also want to give a shout out to Kang Ha Kyung who had a guest role in the last two episodes. I thought his performance was scarily good (literally).
I enjoyed the second couple and would have liked them to have some more screen time - especially more of Jeon Hye Bin's character.
I thought the evolving relationship between Yun Seok Hun and Kang Hyo Min was done appropriately, and I'm happy with where they ended up at the final episode. Perhaps if we get a second season, we'll see where their relationship goes.
I could make some minor criticisms (e.g. product placements were not subtle), but the bottom line for me is "was the drama entertaining?". My answer to that question is a resounding "YES".
My score 9/10.

This show makes no sense. What’s with all the murder/criminal cases. Last I checked they are personal injury…
Because every other KDrama ever made makes perfect sense and is 100% logical ... right?

Title 18 Again
Is There a Love Triangle...?
Also, you shouldn't spam your question over and over like that , especially when you could have just checked the Tags and seen the "Love Triangle" tag is there.

Title 18 Again
Well, this was obviously written by men. There’s a cold hearted, bitchy wife and a warm hearted husband who…
I disagree with your characterisation of their relationship - they were both at fault. Also, there are PLENTY of KDramas in which men are portrayed very negatively.

Title 18 Again
Is There a Love Triangle...?
There was another guy interested in her, and he did pursue her, but he never really had a chance. So I guess the answer is "yes", but you'd be making a mistake avoiding this drama just because of this. It is a really good drama.

Title Harmony Secret Spoiler
This drama left me disappointed. It was a messy, confusing story, and I could never emotionally engage with the…
Some complaints in no particular order:
* One of my biggest hates in dramas in unearned redemption. Aiwarin was a hypocrite and terrible person who did terrible things, but then is instantly forgiven by Mewika because "her father made her do it". No he didn't. She could have said "no" and refused, but she didn't. But the corporate espionage wasn't her only "crime". Her continual sexual harrassment of Mewika (including forcing herself on her) in the early episodes made it very difficult for me to feel anything but distain for her.
* Aiwarin's father was an even more terrible person than his daughter, but he just said "sorry" and cried a bit in the final episode and suddenly he's the father of the year in his daughter's eyes. Very, very unearned redemption for this piece of shit.
* It was very unclear when (or even if) their feelings were genuine. They would say that they love each other, then do something that demonstrated that they didn't. I guess they were attracted to each other, and I'm sure they enjoyed the sex, but what they displayed towards each other was not anything I recognize as "love". They were in effect fuck buddies, rather than actual romantic partners.
* So many dramas have unnecessary and stupid breakups based on noble idiocy or easily avoided misunderstandings. Not this drama though. Their "breakup" (if I can even call it that) was absolutely justified and definitely was the right decision for them both. Personally, I think the drama would have been better to leave the ending like that, or at least leave it open ended. But of course, they had to get back together again in the final minutes of the final episode to ensure everyone gets the obligatory happy ending.
* I just didn't buy the second couple at all. They just suddenly love each other because ... I have no clue why. And don't even get me started with Jam blocking G's exit from the toilet with her threat to cry "rape". That was just silly. And G's later apology to Jam for daring to push her when escaping from the toilet was even sillier.

This drama left me disappointed. It was a messy, confusing story, and I could never emotionally engage with the characters or cheer for their "romance". I thought the background music / sound effects were often ridiculously cheesey and always too loud. Some further complaints are in my rant in the spoiler ...

The time-slip genre has been done before many times, and there is nothing particularly original about this version, however this drama is simply done well. It is well written and well acted, and the story is quite "believable" which isn't always the case with this type of drama. Also, the last episode wrapped the story up nicely. It is definitely worth a watch.
My score: 8.5/10.

I understand that you're just giving your opinion, which you are entitled to do of course, as am I. In my opinion,…
I respect your opinion and your freedom to choose whether to particpate in any medical treatment of any kind, and to hold the beliefs you want. I will always support your right to think and act according to your beliefs. I would just ask for the same courtesy in return. I'm not convinced any gods exist, so the religious opinions of others aren't of any interest to me, and those religious certainly should not be used to prevent me from accessing medical procedures that I wish to access.

I'm enjoying this drama quite a lot. It's more light hearted than most other Chinese historical/fantasy dramas I've seen. I just want to make one observation. In other "cross-dressing" dramas I've watched, they made at least some effort to have the female character appear male. In this drama, they haven't even tried. I don't think it is even possible to make He Yan look more feminine.

The prisonners of beauty is very good. I also recommend when destiny brings the demon, it's a very beautiful love…
I loved "Prisioner of Beauty", but have not yet watched "When Destiny Brings the Demon". I've added it to my to-watch-list.

And yet again, another clever, courageous female general who acts like a 5-year-old? WHy?????
Because ... China.
Also, this drama leaned more into light hearted comedy that a serious political drama.

I haven't yet watched this drama, but reading the comments below, it seems to be a drama about a "doormat" character being continually hurt by a "toxic narcissist" character. Is this characterisation accurate?

I understand that you're just giving your opinion, which you are entitled to do of course, as am I. In my opinion, the topic of medically assisted suicide is an important one that can and should be discussed. It is easy to be opposed to it, perhaps until you sit beside a dying person and watch them slowly and painfully die over the last week or two of their natural life. I definitely want the ability to choose to end my life rather than to simply continuing to exist in pain and with zero quality of life.

Her most recent movie is "Forbidden Fairytale", a 18+ movie in which she has a sex scene, but she remains fully clothed during the sex. Like I said earlier, I doubt she will ever do nudity again now she's achieved the success she has.

"The Hidden Face" was released in late 2024 - so about 10 months ago - but it was filmed about 2½ years before it was released. Park Ji Hyun wasn't an unknown actress when she filmed it, but she certrainly wasn't an A-list actress at that time.

It definitely is NOT a GL drama. The reason some people were wondering was because of some of the slightly suggestive publicity photos.
