In episode 8 with the women in the Karaoke room, they are singing along to my favourite Korean song of all time, the classic "Azalea" by Maya. And for anyone who's interested, Korean all-female rock band Rolling Quartz did a cover of that classic song: https://youtu.be/EVbR7F2YgNQ
I see in your review, you estimate the character of Seo Jun Hui is "about 24". I think he is more like 27 or 28, and here is my reasoning. In an early episode, Seo Gyeong Sun is holding the 10th aniversary remembrance ceremony for her and Seo Jun Hui's deceased mother. It is mentioned that she died in the same year that Seo Jun Hui wrote his university entrance exam, which I'm assuming would have been when he was a high school senior (either 17 or 18 years old). So, I start with 17 or 18 and then add 10.
A very thought provoking drama, and I thought the ending was done quite well. I did think the pacing a too slow at times, and I also think they could have done more with the side characters (ghosts). I would have liked to have seen the ghosts having their favours fulfilled by Cha Yu Ri. The exorcist character was unecessary in my opinion. 8/10 is my score.
Dropped after 6 episodes. It's not that the show is terrible, but it definitely does show its age. I'm also finding Lee Min Ho's character insufferable - his inability to speak a single clear sentence to immediately remove all the misunderstanding is just so frustrating.
He is definitely rude in the first episode, but it changes immediately after he recognizes her by the end of the…
I watched two episodes and didn't notice any change. Also, it wasn't just rudeness, which wouldn't bother me too much - it was the fact that he was contolling and manipulative. And creepy. Think about when he bought her those lycra clothes to go surprise jogging with him. How did he know what size she was? Did he buy a sports bra for her as well, as many women would feel uncomfortable jogging without one. If so, how did he know her size? If not, then that in itself is creepy. It's just creepy.
Oh the irony of Lee Jin Pyo accusing others of having no conscience after he kidnapped a baby from its mother and lied to the now adult child that his mother abandoned him. Even now, he runs a major international drug production and distribution network is off the charts. Perhaps he should take a look in a mirror.
A big budget, high quality drama. I've previously been critical of Yang Yang's acting, but I thought he was quite good in this. Wang Chu Ran's acting was excellent and Chen Jin was superb as the cold, controlling evil bitch mother. I thought the cinamtography and OST were both very good.
There is a lot of diversity in the various subplots - family drama, medical, fire/rescue, so people will differ in which episodes they prefer. For me, the last half dozen episodes were the strongest in the whole drama. Plenty of tropes scattered through the episodes, but that's to be expected.
Overall, an enjoyable drama. My score would have been 8.5, but the strong final episodes coaxed me to rais its score to 9.

I realise this is a subjective opinion and I'm generalising very broadly, but I find Japanese dramas are of lower quality than Korean and Chinese dramas, but often feature much weirder and more uncomfortable and cringy plotlines. It's almost like Japanese film makers priority is to shock the viewer, or at least make them uncomfortable, rather than to entertain them.

We find out in episode 14 that he didn't get the girl pregnant, but that doesn't take away from my original point. In my opinion, it was in bad taste for him to play a character even suspected of impregnating a woman one third of his age.

Metaphor obviously. Your comments drip with smugness and are unreasonably combative. You resort to insults readily. Quite frankly, you're not a pleasant person to converse with.

You've expressed your opinions which you're entitled to do and I'm entitled to disagee with them. I'll also point out that you've made inaccurate assumptions about my beliefs and consequently have reached inaccurate conclusions about them. It seems probable that you're not interested in mature, nuanced conversation, preferring to build a strawman that you can shake your fist at .
