Yes - but unless I'm mistaken, Anueng was still aged under 20 (i.e. a minor) while she was at college - for at least a year and a bit. So, Nueng was her Guardian (and lover) while Anueng was still legally a minor. I don't remember the book mentioning Anueng turning 20. Also, there is that time jump, but that's towards the end of the book. I'd have to read the book again (which I plan to do) to remind myself of the exact timeline.
So I have a running theory that besides respecting authority and all that- Anueng has no say in her life even…
In the book, Anueng was 18. In Thailand, a person isn't considered legally an adult until they are 20 (unless they are married, which somewhat ironically they can do from age 17). So, in the book, Anueng was literally a minor, and therefore legally needed a guardian.
With "Love Senior", the difference between the uncut version and the cut (i.e. YouTube) version was the uncut version had longer kissing scenes between the girls. Perhaps the same thing will happen with 23.5.
I'm clueless about this, so forgive the stupid question. How do you use your own subtitles? And if it is something…
Thank you. And if you're OK with it, I will credit you as my inspiration to do this in the first place. Please let me know if you are happy for me to do that. After "Blank", I plan to re-sub some of the low budget Thai dramas on the @hourchannell. All of those subs appear to also be auto-translated. Those mini-dramas are really amateur, but they are cute and I enjoy them.

You've motivated me to try redoing the subtitles myself. I've just finished Episode 1. You are more than welcome to use any of my subtitles if you want. I actually created a YouTube page just for this. As I'm sure you know, it takes AGES to do them and get all of the timings right. But I enjoyed doing it, and I picked up so much of the story that I missed by just watching the show. The link is in the spoiler reply.
It comes down to personal preference I think. I might be in the minority, but I actually preferred the Chinese…
My opinion now is the Korean version is better, but I still enjoyed the Chinese version. It really will come down to personal preference. There were some things I preferred about the Korean version and some things I preferred about the Chinese version. I suggest you just start watching it, and if you like it, keep watching it, and if not, drop it and try something else.
I think Korean society is not that conservative as there are many well known actresses who has done nude sex scenes…
True - but unlike Western actresses, no Korean A-list actress (upon reaching A-list status) has ever done such a scene. Those 3 actresses you mentioned are NOW A-list actresses, but all of them did their scenes at the very beginning of their career when they were unknowns. They wouldn't perform such a scene now as it would hurt their career. Even Lim Ji-Yeon's sex scene in "The Glory" was done fully clothed, even though that drama did contain other nudity. (EDIT: Actually there is one exception - Jeon Do-Yeon. But doing those movies DID hurt her financially. She lost product endorsement deals after the release of one of her movies with explicit sex scenes.)

So, you can see what I've done to part 1/4 of Episode (first 7 minutes). I really tried to make the dialogue a lot clearer. So, is this something you'd like me to continue with or not?

I'm going to start now to make suggestions when I think they are needed. I will comment under the video on Youtube and then reply to my comment so I don't spam out the comments section. The main thing I will do is try to make the sub read more clearly if possible, especially for a native English speaker. Obviously you are free to ignore some, or even all of my suggestions if you disagree with them. Only make any changes that YOU think are needed. Thank you. P.S. I will use paraphrasing to help get across the MEANING, rather than just always sticking to the actual translation.
It was too short to really tell the story properly. If you're a fan of GL, just watch it because its so short, but I found it underwhelming. 6½/10 from me.

IF I have any suggestions as to how they might be better, would you want me to share? And if so, would the YouTube comments section be suitable to offer my suggestions?
The book had a 5 year timeskip towards the end. I suspect that this drama will bring that time skip forward, but…
They are trimming some parts out of the novel. I hope they don't trim too much out. I'm interested in seeing how closely the drama follows the book. One thing I'm pretty sure they'll completely remove is Anueng's interesting romantic preferences (wink).
Please anyone have this novel please send mee how can i read without buying
It can only be read in the app, because it is encrypted. But you should buy it and support the author. It's really not that expensive, and it's really good. There is a twist in the book that I am 95% sure will not be in the drama. https://www.mebmarket.com/ebook-278699-Blank--English-version
I'm clueless about this, so forgive the stupid question. How do you use your own subtitles? And if it is something that anyone can do, would you be willing to share yours? I agree that the only weakness with the drama is the low quality English subtitles.
