I did think the whole family/crime drama was a little farfetched... more so than the whole angel/fantasy thing. I think God would have been enough of a "villain", with his strict Rules; it would have been really interesting and bold if they'd fleshed that out a little bit more. In the end it would have emphasized how they earn to become a human couple even more. In that scenario they could also have done more with the Archangel Hoo character, who became more and more interesting (more "human" too, if you will), and with the backstory of Yeon Seo and Yoo Seong ( I actually like the they-knew-each-other-as-children trope). I loved both leads, they did a great job. I've liked Shin Hye Sun ever since 'Stranger' and I'd love to see L in more lead roles. He's cute, but I also believed his emotional journey. I'd like to see him in something more serious.
I find it funny that ppl are bashing others bc they have an opinion about SSK. Well, here's mine. Give her a chance?…
I think SSK is doing great in this so far. First impression of the character: love her. If people are judging her for something like 'The Bride of Habaek' that's a little bit unfair 'cause I thought that drama was very poor, which was on the writers, not the actors. Anyway. Like you, I don't like people judging something before even having seen 5 minutes. So SSK: hwaiting!!
I had to read Goethe's 'Die Leiden des jungen Werther' in school LMAO Can't believe it popped up in a K-drama and I actually know what she's talking about. Great start, this first episode. Super cute, but also some truly political and social substance. And a female lead to root for. Let's hope it stays good. If not, there's always Eun Woo's lovely half moon shaped eyes to look at^^.
Whatever happens in the last two episodes (I have good hope, ‘cause I’m betting the director doesn’t want to get his head chewed off)... anyway... whatever happens... this will still be the best proposal scene in any drama ever: https://youtu.be/n7RXjTehr6Q
Mm if you think about people who break away from long term relationships, stuff like this happens. I have seen…
No need to get huffy. Just giving my opinion, just like you. If you don’t like to get opinions on your opinions you shouldn’t post them. Like I said, it’s perfectly fine for you to not like the drama, or certain elements of it. But it’s perfectly fine too for me to defend it.

I don't know where you live, but yes, because of the patriarchal societies in SEA some cases are likely to be worse than you can imagine. And they are elsewhere too. This does NOT only happen in drama. The writer and director thought it necessary to address these issues in this way, and I trust they are sincere. To you they might have overdone it, but you don't really know, do you. If you’re saying you don’t like the drama: that's fine. If you’re saying it’s not accurate: that’s not o.k. at all.
No, it's not unbelievable. Read the posts above yours.
Actually no they're not, 'cause this is what the drama is about. It's a social drama, not just a romance drama. I'm sure it's the writer's and director's goal to adress these issues. No point then in making it just a little bit hard for Jung In to get rid of her boyfriend and for Ji Ho to be accepted as a single father... and for Jae In to be just a little bit abused. For this to be on Korean TV is important. It might not be your cup of tea, but then then there are plenty of lighter dramas out there.

8/10 for me, which is solid good.
