Yes, I watched Sornram's version first, before watching Weir's version which I didn't like as much as Sornram's (which in my opinion is the best of the two I've seen).

you mentioned a novel, by chance is there an english version floating around, I would love to read it if there is. My other favourite thai series, Prissana, has a novel in two parts that I have re-read a few times as well as watching that show for the umpteenth time, and miss the good old days of Tik being such a savvy sweetheart.

oh, did they change the story? I saw the trailer only and I felt like Tik looked too old for the role. Again, I really think Pop should have been main lead. He has the range to play the Kings role well. Although I said I will skip this version, my love for the original will likely make me want to watch this version just to know how they evolved it. I'll likely watch it in 2.5x speed to watch it faster instead of wasting my time watching it in normal speed.
True. Since he has returned to the acting many years ago I found that all of his lakorns were flopped. Not because…
Aha, I'm not Thai, I got into lakorns around 2007 and have never looked back. I might give 12Rasee a chance. I'm currently watching Likit Haeng Jan and i'm enjoying it (just waiting for the last bits of the last episode to be subbed), but I think I like the old time period better than the modern counterpart in the lakorn. I forward the modern scenes. All the other newer lakrorns I watch them in 2x speed. They are mostly misses and the only ones I've enjoyed even remotely has been Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat in the last couple of years. I rewatch a lot of the older ones that are my favourites nowadays.

I usually don't like action lakorns, so I skipped 12 Rasee, but all his other lakorns are amazing (the subbed ones at least). I really enjoy his acting. I love when he has that pondering face and his eyes are really expressive. I 100% agree about the comment regarding newer lakorns. I find a lot of them have no soul. It's hard to explain, but the deep thought and family feeling in the older lakorns get stripped out of remakes. The dialogues get dumbed down, the cast interaction gets reduced to mostly just the main hero/heroine. The plot gets spicer in terms of stupid slap scenes or yelling. I love the quite of the older lakorns, its a weird feeling but the soft spoken dialogues really get me in the older lakorns.

Exactly, no matter how much I like his acting, if the story is boring I can't bring myself to watch it. I think he needs to seriously consider the scripts before taking on projects.
@Onelovestorie I read your entire review and I can't thank you enough for preventing me to watch that cringe drama
haha glad I helped someone. It's honest a really bad plot, but so over the top and littered with so many stupid characters that once you start watching, its hard to stop the train wreck from reaching the ending.
Watched it raw. I wish I understood some of the really intense scenes and that there was someone who would sub this. Overall the show was decent. I think the ML was a bit too pushy and FL a bit too much of a doormat. Like she went along with the two gay guys, not thinking that her whole life is ahead of her, instead of remarrying another gay guy, she should think clearly that this isn't a solution for anyone.
yeah, i also want a reunion with mario with historical setting... she was supposed to be the main girl in mario's…
I haven't watched that one because I kept thinking I would like to have paired him with Mint, haha its awesome to hear what I wanted is exactly what the producers wanted too. Too bad he got paired with Kim. I will watch it someday, but for now I can continue to wish she gets a reunion with him (and that the script isn't stupid).
Just pushed myself to rewatch this since I totally forgot about the show. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT watch this. It is so draggy, with characters so stupid that you wonder how they made it through life so long.
LOl wth?! I just watched the trailer thinking it's going to be some crazy b~!@# fight between twin sisters, only to see random sci-fi invisible bats~!@ crazy twin sister in a latex suit. I'm done with this show.
Here for Im Joo Hwan, yet again sidelined as the second lead. Drama gods have decided that acting skills don't matter as much as name recognition and fan following. I am just glad at least I get to see him be awesome on screen.

I'm done with this show.
