OMG, I thought I was the only one who is having a hard time with her acting. She smiles through the whole show.
There's definitely a skin filter in this drama, plus the choice of lipsticks for all the females in the show is really off-putting and too bright for a historical setting. She looks really fake, and I sometimes feel like I can't even see her real face because of too much filtering/makeup.
I enjoyed the lakorn but I do think people rating it a 10/10 are doing too much. I think because of the chemistry…
Haha, I've rewatched BPS three times and Padiwaradda twice. Bella is probably the best among all the newer actresses. I enjoy the historical lakorns more ( they usually have higher budgets, so the stories, generally are much better), but I can watch Pope and Bella in just about any script cause they have really good chemistry. I hope they release BPS2 soon, I'm looking forward to it.

I've seen her in other lakorns, but I think in this one, her lack of acting skills stood out even more since the story focused so much on her. The script needed a very solid FL, with enough emotional presence to carry the heavy scenes. Kluen Cheewit was pretty decent (among some of the newer lakorns) since the acting and script were both done well, nothing to hit the 10/10 buzzer about, but it was a solid 8/10 for me personally. I am just really jaded by the all these lacklustre new lakorns, I've watched tons of older lakorns and seeing scripts with no direction and a plots filled with crazy, over the top of whacky characters seems to have become the norm. The lack of acting in this lakorn really took the cherry on top. Only new lakorn that I wholeheartedly enjoyed has been Padiwaradda and Bpoop Pheah Saniwat.
I just wrote a review, I am blown away by the high ratings this crap got. The FLs acting is so hard to stomach. Are my expectations high, or is everyone else okay with zero acting skills in their female leads? She literally stares at he camera 90% of the time with the same expression, just sucking the soul out of you lol.
Someone, please sub this version! I honestly wish that more 90s lakorns were subbed. I loooove the way the characters and storylines were presented in the older lakorns, especially compared to the crap being put out nowadays. I prefer older lakorns.
they filmed a lot of decent scenes and all got CUT OFF. This production is famous of ruining lakorns
Why would someone not quality check the show though from the production/direction team? It seems like such a waste of time and effort for the end product to not even be checked and prematurely released. What production company is this?
Is it just me or the editing in this show is all over the place? I am finding so many scenes are disjointed or cut prematurely and segmented into other parts. Oh, and so many of the characters are bonkers lol. Nin keeps drooling over a man who has a fiance, Tin, who supposedly loves his fiance secretly stalks a woman he thinks is a whore. I'm just so confused by what the writer/director is trying to go for? On top of all this, the editing team might also be high on something when working on this project.
You are right about their actings. Hahaha...(You're lakorn insider!) But this drama by itself, the story, I mean,…
I hope the producers, or channels realize the huge amount of revenue they can get by subbing their lakorns themselves. A lot of Chinese ip dramas started doing that and are posted on yt by the channel themselves so it makes it really easy to grab international audiences.

The youtube lakorn bust was a sad time in drama history. A lot of awesome lakorns got wiped, and most of them aren't available either. Then viki also deleted all the lakorns off their site due to copyright as well and even more subbed lakorns were deleted.

haha, I read a lot of c-novels and found it translated by a fan. I can send you the link. I am not really a lakorn insider, I just watch a lot of the old ones, i'm not too up to date with the newer ones since a lot of sites I used to follow are no longer active so I don't get the info anymore on who's doing what subs. I miss lyn's lakorn blog. She was awesome back in the day for brining all the lakorn info I ever needed in english. I'm an old timer that fell in love with Jam Leuy Ruk when it was first subbed on crunchyroll.
OMG it was mine too. I can't wait to see the remake. I hope it's as good as the original.
aha, I know what you mean. I like a slow burn romance, which is why I enjoyed it so much the first time around. It's just some of her decisions weren't what I expect a smart girl to make. She pushed him back on so many fronts that I got annoyed with her.
