If you haven't already, the lakorn that started it all for me was Jam Leuy Rak. It was my very first lakorn back when crunchyroll still had dramas on it. It's a slap/kiss and very true one at that. Other slap/kiss that I enjoy to bits is another one of Ann's, Sawan Biang. It's been rewatched almost as much as Jam Leuy Rak. I keep rewatching it not because of Ann amazingly, but because of Ken, his acting in it was sooo good as Kawee! Tang Parn Kammathep is also really good, I was a big Andrew fan back in the day. Kleun Cheewit is a newer one and one of the only newer slap/kiss that I've liked. Another newer one is Game Rai Game Rak. It's got some really cute moments and then turns pretty dark the later half of the show.

If you ant Tik specific lakorn thats subbed, I would say watch Roy Leh Sanae Rai for a slap/kiss, it's pretty good and I remember liking it, however I haven't rewatched it in over a decade so I can't say if that assessment will hold up. My favourite of his is Prissana. I've even read the whole book because I love the storyline. It's not slap kiss, but it has really good chemistry, even through their interactions aren't very overt, you can feel the underlying chemistry from the way they look and talk to each other. Another lakorn of his that I enjoyed was Wanida, he had pretty decent chemistry with Aff in that one. Soda Gub. Cha Yen was subbed on viki once upon a time so I'm not sure if it's available anywhere else, but I remember liking that one a lot.
I don't know if you want to be spoiled. It's kind of a twist as many people expected something else. I was rooting for the guy she ends with the whole time so I loved the ending cause of it.
Unfortunately I agree with you, Ann for all her acting skills couldn't make the chemistry work between her and…
Lol thats actually true Smart is only good for smiling to show off his dimples, but he did have some chemistry with Ann in Likit Kammathep. Yah Leum Chan was painful to watch cause it honesty didnt seem like they were interested in each other.
I really want to forget this show, just so I can watch and fall in love with it again. I usually rewatch shows I like, but it's hard with this show since I haven't forgotten anything for a year now. I'm waiting for more gaps in my memory so I can watch with some cloudiness.
OMG, can someone please for the love of god sub this? I love Ann to bits, but her and Tik produced as much chemistry as eggs on icecream. I want to see this pair in this setting.
Got a new fan, just watched RRPJ and I was gawking the whole show. He kind of reminds me of Nadech (the eyes...?). I would love to see him in more shows!
This lakorn has ended my dry spell for crappy dramas streak. I was on a roll, every show I watched was lacklustre so having stumbled upon this show, I am enjoying this way more than I thought. The couple has serious chemistry. andI love that the FL is outgoing and actually stands up for herself. Meanwhile, the ML isn't a douchebag and is actually very considerate. I will wait for the last three episodes to be subbed so I can review. It's been a breath of fresh air so far and I'm glad I started watching this on a spur.
Anyone else totally enraptured by Jeua and Jan? Those two were scene stealers! I honestly LOVED Jeua. She was comedy gold with her candid one-liners and honest reactions to the crazy going on around her. I think the actress playing her deserves a huge nod for her portrayal of a clumsy, loose-lipped servant with a propensity for truth saying in an evil character that you don't see that often. It's sad to see that she doesn't even have a mention in the cast under dramalist.
It's a real shame that so many side characters get neglected when sometimes they shine and stand out way more than main characters who can't act at all! Case in point the female lead, she was really awkward in most of her shy and sly scenes. All we saw from her was a random smirk/smile that looked so out of place. Before the stans come after me, yes, she's super adorable and I get everyone's got to start somewhere, but why come out as a FEMALE LEAD when you're wet behind the ears? I think it's a common problem in a lot of lakorns, and I can't even blame the actors/actresses as it's the bidding of higher ups and channel heads. The male lead was too wishy washy playing his jackyl/hyde character and even till the last episode was so sterotypical that I honestly didn't want Cheewa to end up with him. He played along with Kade, knowing she has feelings for him and never made himself clear with Kade (he sometimes ignored her, sometimes snubbed her, but also went along with her at times and even initiated some conversations, so I actually felt bad for Kade at times). Acting wise, Porche is an old hand and didn't have any issues, it's just his characterization that bugged me to no end.
Anywho, I enjoyed this show, mainly because of it being a period piece and the side characters. The main storyline was kinda boring and the issues regarding Cheewa's mother were so vague, we get pieces of it here and there and I still don't understand how she became paralyzed from the legs down, plus what the backstory about the grandfather and Cheewa's mother having to leave the city was all about? Thats poor writing on the the script end. But, as I said before, I enjoyed watching the show because of the gorgeous costumes and overall story was pretty decent.
It's odd that while watching this, I kept thinking of the older version. I think Ester is a pretty good actress, but Bee was just so expressive in her role as Arisara, and Chakrit hit it out with his expressive eyes, I'm sorry to say that Jes is no where near to that level of acting. In the old version. Bee and Chakrit literally talked with just their eyes when seeing each other, I really missed that in this version. However, I liked that they cleaned up some over the top violent scenes and the lack of rape in this one is appreciated. But, i'm not sure if anyone else noticed, the editing for this show cut sooooo much out, It's like they filmed for 14-16 episodes but were told to reduce it. to 12. I kept feeling like a lot of lines and moments were cut which could've added to the overall story. It's really not a norm for me to say that a show needed more episodes as I'm usually complaining that directors drag things out when they should be reduced but I really felt it in this show.
If anyone ever reuploads this, even without subs, I would love to give this one a go. I won't understand much, but watching Willy in his prime would be a treat!
I find Thai producers/directors tend to overshadow the more 'thai' looking FL/ML's. Very few who don't look either Chinese or Farang make it very far in terms of main roles, even should they be much more versed in acting compared to someone who just looks like they are Farang/Chinese. This is just my two cents, but I think this girl deserves more main roles after seeing some of her works.
It's unfortunate that the show was cut from 14 down to 11 episodes. So much was left unsolved or unexplored in the last episode. I think even one more episode might have been perfect to resolves the story to a more comprehensive end. Regardless, I was pleasantly surprised by how good this show was. I went in with little expectations but I'm glad I gave it a go. It's a light-hearted show, which doesn't take itself seriously. The characters are actually very endearing, especially Dao, who was totally believable as a spoilt, but cute actress and Chang as the detective playing undercover to be her nanny/manager.

**She ends up with Teak and not Jung Hwan**
