To add on Big_Red’s comments. This is definitely a satisfactory happy ending with no rush. There are 5 realms in this story, the two main leads, Ji Bo Zai and MingYi, are from Sunken Abyss and YaoGuang Mountain, but there is a twist to their identity. It is a coming together for convenience type of relationships with deception and no trust, and a journey of how this CP build their relationship with bigger threats.
It’s 💯 worth watching for me, and you can see the comment section, it tells.

I agreed with you that Emperor ZhuiShui feels more like the ultimate villain, he was the one that started to want to conquer the realms for power. STL was corrupted by the dark powers and a sad misguided kid. But here they decided not to give him a redemption arc, which I am also fine as he has done too much harm.
Actually I felt STL’s actor was also too inexperienced to hold this role.
