If you want, will be to watch Love In Pavilion, so you can understand why ML’s father behave and treated his son this way. And you get to understand the origin of the ultimate villain. But even if you didn’t watch that prequel, it’s okay as so far this drama has been able to do quite a good re-cap as ep progresses. So you don’t miss much.
