Haven’t watch today’s ep. but seeing the preview for ep 31/32, I knew this will happen, JBZ going to do his noble act of rescuing MY and almost cost his life. But I believed what Neo mentioned in his interview that this drama has a HE, so we will have to brace this angst tropes of XianXia;).

I was thinking about this point, there is an interesting contrast and similarities between SituLing and JBZ. Both have gone through abandonment and abuses, yet JBZ can maintain his purity and SituLing lost to dark side so easily. Maybe it have to do with the differences in their blood. SituLing’s father is after all a villain too😅.
