IMO, this part 2 is watchable but story is not as captivating and tight as part 1. A lot of happenings are like “…why like this and that…it just did and everything is okay now…after a few ep.” 😅. The culture presentation are still fantastic! Lots of great dance, art performances of those times. Thats the best part to my enjoyment, lots of effort.

Lastly, the irritating brother of ShenYi, did create some misunderstanding but it will be clarified and he maintains the good adoptive brother for most part. And nope he didn’t get kick out, because this drama has lots of redemption arc for most characters.

He just know what to say to sooth her emotions. He make sharp observation and very sensitive and thoughtful towards her needs. Perfect lover indeed!

The story is quite good. It’s the same author that written parallel world. But is all drama, IG you can switch off logic and accept this is Sci-fi, it’s pretty fun to watch. For warm you that the CGI is really not fantastic because of the low budget. Enjoy!
