Honestly I preferred this drama to Wanted Detective, although I love investigation drama, that one just didn’t grab me. Maybe it’s my bias towards the main lead, I love both Zhou Ye and Ryan Chen😍.

Hahaha…Thats the plothole that I told myself to switch off my logic brain. This female actress is too petite and too sweet to cut off as a male…I wonder why nobody notice her as a lady in her second arc when she goes to camp as new recruit.

It’s an enjoyable watch to my opinion. Fast pace, acting on spot, love the fight scenes. Just got to switch off your logic brain. Apart from what Arpar mentioned on the plotholes, I really can’t see that nobody doesn’t noticed FL as a girl when she joined the camp in second arc. In the first arc, is acceptable as she wears a mask, so okay she/he is a small size general that fights well;). Do try it and see how you feel about it;).

This is thr trope about how girls are not important in the family and she is breed and trained solely to achieved a name for her family hence she was forced to use her brother’s name since beginning. So they discard her once she gain certain recognition. In the novel, she is not the biological daughter but the niece.

Yup, agreed! I started the novel but at early chapters and decided to not continue as I know I will be disappointed. This author for the novel actually writes good story😓.

I can only blame the screen writers for all these plotholes and lack of logic, they could have done a better job with the story. But alas, I like the leads, and so far it’s entertaining, so I will lower my expectation and switch off my logic brain for this show😓.

This screenwriters tried their best to make the story believable. I am actually okay with this. This only part that I tried very hard to switch off my logic is that Zhou Ye really can’t cut out as a male soldier. In the beginning as she wore mask, so yup, it’s accepted as they can’t see her face. But in the new arc, I find it so hard that none of the men realise it😅. But I have to suspense my disbelieve as so far the pace and acting still good.
