So far the essence of this drama is very close to the book, only sequence of events have some minor changes. So finger crossed that we get the epilogue being shown too;)

I get it now, this drama is a parody of all the c drama cliche tropes put together in one show…hilariously funny🤣🤣🤣.

At the last chapter, chapter 61. There are two additional epilogue narrating about their happy marriage with grown up children.

Actually I am quite surprise that this drama can show such a layer, scary character arc like Shen Zai Ye. It’s probably LXY’s fantastic portrayal of a villain, I felt quite fearful for Jiang TaoHua and believe he would kill her with every opportunity when she is of no use to him. 😓

Yup, indeed. So sometimes, I don’t quite understand why people are complaining. Too pamper by many kisses in c drama 😅.

Rest assurred, the teacher is a good character, his words mark wisdom and insight especially for FL.

This show explored some serious and intense theme. A lot of viewer felt they are deceive by the poster and trailer, thinking it’s a Rom-Com and came here disappointed. If you like it, don’t be bothered by the ratings, there are also a lot of viewers enjoying this.

I really like how the theme of adult lying to their children being explored here in different angle. Would parents telling a white lie be protective or destructive, when would be a good time for them to tell the truth to their children? I felt Dr Ming take too much burden on himself, but he also didn’t quite handle his relationship with his son, he was quite avoidance.
In both case with ML and FL, their parents’ lies have not really serve good outcome for their children at their delicate age.

So ep 14 and 15 are out, how was it? Will it still end with intense emotions? I am contemplating whether to watch or wait for a few more days.

Seems like a trend in such script lately. I kept seeing similar plot recently in enemies to lovers’ trope, vicious, misunderstood ML trying to kill FL😅.

The more ep I watch, the more I feel that this whole show is a comedy🤣😅.

Just started this…the first ep is so funny and hilarious…had me rolling with laughter. Love FL’s cute character, I miss Li YiTong’s acting, always find her such a good actress but underrated, like her modern character, not been given enough recognition.
