It a good theme this story kept emphasizing on, “perception”, we see it again bein played out in the three bully girl who changed their perception and behaviour towards QingYu after they gain new perspectives on QingYu’s sister. This whole show revolves around the convenient of human nature on the “quick and easy to judge”, but lacks perspective, reminding us how when we see things, we don’t just see but need to understand.

Yeah agreed. FL doesn’t seem very smart, she didn’t realise that the script may not be what it is and kept being fixated at who she thinks is the villian. I also hope she starts to realise soon. The momentum is good but they can’t keep repeating the same trope as that will make it boring. This drama has 40ep!!! So long. lol!

Ming Sheng is a good boy and he will have his own growth too. The novel didnt give ML much focus, but in the drama MingSheng’s role is given a lot more screen time.;) Zhou YiRan is very suitable for this role, a young 17yrs old with hormones raging🤩.

I am actually okay now that this drama give QingYu an opportunity to dance, this give a tighter plot connecting her and BeiYu. And when QingYu dance, it also symbolizes her freedom. And of course we got a sweet scene where MingSheng grab her and run. This drama definitely attempts to give us more scenes between the leads.;) It also seems like here they may also change how BeiYu chooses to die. I am excited to see how this wrap up, glad they may give us express tomorrow.

Well, this story is also emphasizing on traditional punitive beliefs and her parents’ generation are also victim of inter generational practices. So FL represent the new generation that learnt to understand, forgive and yet craft their own values and practices yet retaining respect and bond with their parents. So this is that kind of story and not so much focus on the punishment of her parent. 😅

She wrote a piece of article title “I love you too…”. He read it and he knew it was written for him. But that’s in the novel, not sure they will keep this here in drama.
