im in episode 7. can someone spoil me & let me know when the truth is revealed about the hairpin? because im all…
Well, at ep 12, they have not clarify about the broken hairpin and now FL threw away ML’s gift, and stab him…but based on preview, they are talking and hugging at ep 14. So maybe we can look forward to that?
What’s your preference? If you can’t continue Go Ahead because of its dysfunctional family theme, then this…
Yup, k drama and c drama pacing can be quite different and the emphasis of the directors can also be differing. I used to watch k drama, then after I switched to c drama, I just stuck with it, probably because there are so many different types of variety of plot. I am kind of experiencing burnout from k drama. lol. But yeah, your choice on this. I suggest that if after 5 ep., this doesn’t call out to you, then change. Yes, you are right the mother here and the Reset’s actress is the same person, and her portrayal is different, here her acting is a different level. I would say that she is so good that her character makes it so convincing. If you like investigation, consider my suggestion on Seven Relics. If you like Wu Xia, Mysterious Case of Lotusbook has very good investigation plot too. Both shows above has romance as side plot. Enjoy exploring c drama, hope you find something that suits you;).
FL’s mom has depression, part of the symptoms is she feels paranoid about everything and ashamed of herself, so she wears a mask everywhere she goes. When she seek treatment, that behaviour will stop.
didn’t watch the last 2 eps, gonna rack them up, can someone tell me if it’s still stuck with the same thing…
Plot wise, not much progression. JTH is still staying over at the 3rd Prince place, showing her fake loyalty and discovering that he is in cahoots with Empress Lv. We see many scenes of SZY looking very sad and longingly at JTH. JTH is regaining her memories but refused to reach back to SZY. QingTai got rescued and the constant frustration at ML’s sister character. We are also seeing Meng ZhenZhen in her wits and scheme, making partnership with 3rd Prince.
It’s really watchable, although there has been frustrating moments. If you watch this like a stand alone and…
Agreed. A Dream has much more refreshing and enjoyable plots, I am pleasantly surprise at every ep., it’s very good at its humor and the acting were good to watch too. Just waiting for it’s ultimate twist, the only complaint for that drama is that it’s 40ep., so long 😅.
I am thinking about stepping into the world of cdramas. Do you think this drama would ease that? The premise does…
What’s your preference? If you can’t continue Go Ahead because of its dysfunctional family theme, then this may not be that suitable to start with, as this drama challenges the Chinese family traditional taboo practices. The romance is sideplot. Since you like Reset, can consider “Seven Relics of Omen”, a fast pace Sci-Fi theme.
Gosh listening to the people ahead of me it sounds like the plot , what there is other than misunderstandings,…
It’s really watchable, although there has been frustrating moments. If you watch this like a stand alone and little preconceived ideas of season 1, this become more acceptable. The script writer use typical tropes of FL’s struggles, she solving problems and sister relationship then her misunderstanding with ML. But if you just watched season 1, this became quite a drag as some tropes just felt repetitive😅. IMO, I don’t like Princess Gambit’s writing, the set up was good then there is just too many plot holes that I can’t enjoy that one.
You little rat, Chu Gui Hong...At this point, dragging you is part of my daily routine....You stay scheming like…
CGH is a black and white type of villian, once he hates that person, his arrogant and prideful ness will make him continues to want to prove that he is right about Nan Heng. So there is no logic and rationality. He is design that way. I still really can’t figure out the Emperor’s hate? Why did he hate Nan Heng so much, he is afterall his blood too? Unless not?😱
OMG! Ep 12…such a huge barrier between JCY and HWF.
HWF’s mom is unfortunate to be poisoned and the person who posioned her, had become JCY’s servant who brought him up. So naturally JCY will stop HWF from taking revenge, but how can HWF ever forgive JCY for stopping her?
If you like investigation, consider my suggestion on Seven Relics.
