FL will continue to be friend with Mu Mu, and actually they become bestie. ML will also have to help Mu Mu’s family at some point but they maintain just friend, and there were no complicated love triangle or miscommunication. Mu Mu never confess to ML about her feelings too.

Same here. XunYun will always have a special place in my heart in L&P world. The actors/actresses need to de-role and move on; true fans should never do things of such to hurt them. So these fanatics’ behaviour are just way off and for their own selfish obsession 😓. I stay away from these social medias, tends to be toxic. I am glad that so far MDL platform is still neutral and we truly support a good piece of work.

Spot on…hence this is so intriguing to watch as it’s not the typical Youth coming of age drama it’s “…a breakthrough by blending campus life with suspense, boldly exploring the darker, more painful aspects of youth while telling a stereotype-defying story of how young people face challenges as they come to understand the rules of the adult world…”👍🏻

Don’t be discourage by the comments on leopard. The leopard villian is just one villian at the last arc. You can start from the beginning and decide whether you like this. As there are several stories linking to the final arc. This show is underrated and pretty good for a Sci-Fi drama, the five leads are great in their roles with fantastic chemistry.

Watch this like a Youth romance, the romance is subtle but adorable. However tha main focus in on FL uncovering the family secrets to her sister’s death.

Yes I have. I started watching this drama first, then decided to read the novel and finished it in one seating. It’s a good read.

FL’s mom is brought up in a patriarchy culture, and her family is poor. She is never educated and since very young she is taught that woman only goal is to marry well, serve her husband’s family. After marriage she continues to be oppressed and her husband being the younger son and lack of voice and power or authority in his family. They continue to be oppressed and when her eldest daughter’s situation came to her, she tries to find out but her in-laws and elders continue to cast a blame and shame label on them. She has always been told to suppress, tolerate and move on, and can only think for the Qiao’s family reputation, hence even she may have want to fight back, she has no support or doesn’t know how, and helpless. So she just suppressed herself and tolerates, often avoid thinking. She does have a lot of guilt and resentment, hence now she over-compensate by being overly protective of her second daughter. You will also come to understand that she also suffers from depression. She is fortunate to have a very strong-will daughter, QingYu who will taught her a lot of new things being a woman of modern society.
