Here she feels such a psychopath. Toying and killing people just because she can or she wants to. Hopefully the drama gave her a clear end that she deserves. I really can’t feel that she loves Luo Ren, it feels more like an obsession and she is upset that she can’t have him so she wants to make him miserable by torturing him yet not killing him.

In this drama only two personalities, Black Mu Dai and White Mu Dai. White Mu Dai is the compassionate, kind, empathetic and easily cry. Black Mu Dai will appear after the Clam ep. the crude and direct, independent and lacks emotion or care for others.

Just to add on, the relics are ways of killing humanity. So Relic 1: knife or killing, Relic 2 is drowning, use of water, Relic 3 is greed, Relic 4 is gossip and infection, Relic 5 is earth use of ancestors beliefs, buried or something like that. I guess Relic 6 is in leopard and Relic 7 is with the first killer. Just my thought, maybe a novel reader can provide more insight.

Poor is one factor, hierarchy in the family, gender biases and many more issues run in old village that many can’t break through and don’t know how. Family secrets, family ties, family bullying, really need tremendous courage and bravery to break through. There’s where we need FL’s resilience and strong willed character to breakthrough these barriers and challenged the tradition.
This drama is not an easy watch but so good. As many has commented, MDL rating is low probably because viewers here are not expecting the realism and seriousness of this story. Watch and decide for yourself whether this show is for you. I am really enjoying the leads and the parents’ portrayal, just so immersing.

The parents’ generation is also probably one that lacks listening and authoritative, so hence their parenting skills are as such. Sad to see, as pry it’s their poor management that resulted in their daughter’s death.
