Well written! Was waiting to read your review. Your review gave me some understanding about DengKe’s style. Realised he is not really into complex political plots but choose to focus on the romance. I like the beginning set up for Wei Shao’s character, however the script really made him the ‘prisoner for beauty’ very quickly.;)

OK, someone please explain this to me because I’m very confused at the end of episode four when ML was using…
ML’s power is that he can move faster than usual. So when he uses that skills, the armless dude has experiences it before and can recognized it. So he reached out to attack Xiu but only after Xiu killed everyone around there then he could slash Xiu. Xiu wasn’t expecting his attack, so he got slash mildly at the back. Armless dude was still slower. If that scene wasn’t clear, then it’s the director and camera man’s angle wasn’t capturing clearly. Hope this explain it.
