Thats a great growth arc for her in the novel, I always felt she should be more snobbish and arrogant being such a protected noble lady. In the drama it wasn’t so clear though. I like your sharing above on their kids’ names, it make so much sense that their son is ‘Ding’ and their daughter is ‘Kou’, I was wondering what’s the significant of their names.

Hahhaha…both ML and FL sure is very hardworking, in 6years gave birth to two kids, Jiang Ding and Jiang Kou. lol. Such a happy ending. Although this plot has some obvious plotholes here and there, especially the villains arc, but it’s really a light hearted and enjoyable watch. I wondered after filming this drama, will SWL suffer a neck ache with his constant head bending posture🤣😅.

ZH again was reckless in saving Antu, with no proper plans, and I don’t know what he needs to forge a memo to see Antu, just to assure her? And fortunately the Emperor is really kind enough to forgive him for loosing the Gui Seal. So ZH didnt plan that Cao will come for him after he get the Gui Seal🤦🏻♀️. The Queen’s death is really wasted sacrifice of a poorly executed plan to lure the third person. The happy reunion, hopefully it is not foreshadowing any tragedy😓. This script at this final moment is going to just throw us a name that has been hidden among the senior minister as the third person…hmmm, is it the Mr Shi?
And on the other side, the Xiu Battelion cannot survive without Bai Chuan😅🤣.

I agreed with you. This plot has lots of plotholes and the characterization are inconsistent.🤦🏻♀️ But if you want a good consistent plot and characters, do try NIF and JOL. These both are still the best in terms of consistency in character and story.
