Chinese term for ‘Dao Mu Bi Ji’ aka Tomb raiders series. Originally, Zang Hai was supposingly an ancestor character based on that series. But till the end, this drama didnt really clearly explain or make the story link to that. I suspect it’s due to license they bought. However we know subsequently in Tomb Raiders series there was a character that help to design and build tombs.

I feel the screenwriter lacks creativity and just kept repeating that part of his character🤷🏻‍♀️.

As the above tag has no romance, so romance dept. is not the main focus of the show. This is about politics, war and friendship. Season 1 and 2 is actually the whole story but due to cap. on ep., hence this story is break into two seasons. All the three main leads will have their romantic interest, but still too early to tell whether it will be a HE, however one of the main lead will definitely survive till the end.

I do agreed with your points. I blames the screen writer, they kept repeating the same arc like making the ML take reckless risk and no proper plans then last minute some miracle happened that he will be rescued. Be prepared it happened quite a couple of scenes to the end.😓

Yup some of the plot lines and characters were pretty hilarious and entertaining, I watched it for the comedy, SWL’s fights scene were super funny to me, hence that kept me going till the end🤣. Enjoy!

Thanks for this. There are indeed a lot happened in first 10ep. the editing here is not the most easy to follow and can be choppy. We can see the most scheming character is more obvious now which is CanXing, hiding behind his role and frail appearance. He is breaking up the brotherhood using their vulnerabilities. I do foresee many deaths will happen at the end of this show. I do like the new female general, strong and no nonsense.

It’s such good material. It’s strange that the screenwriter chooses not to use this rich materials about the villians, it will definitely bring on more complexity. The Nanlu Prince committing suicide is the weirdest of all.
