I agreed with this, had the same thought too. Their warming up was not well pace, and ML’s comedy moments felt somewhat out of place at times and got me distracted.

💯 agreed. So far the story has shown us how much ML has been tolerating yet maintaining his cool, tolerance and gentleman manners. And we were shown how pampered and caring FL’s parents, friends and colleagues were. Yes, she has pet hurt but it’s really can’t be compare. This drama for the past two ep. is really not making us like the FL’s behaviour. So I am waiting for the resolution. If the resolution is to let the ML be the always willing party to just accept her when she comes back, it is definitely a drama written to appeal to women fantasy. lol!

She is careless and clumsy on a lot of things but just not the calling, she seems very careful with that🤣.

That’s another sign that she is not mature enough to handle a relationship. She feels for herself and knew she needs to protect herself, she is not willing to invest, so that’s why she chooses not to talk to him or even give him a chance.

I can understand the FL’s concern. But she not accepting ML is so so unacceptable, doesn’t make it logical and doesn’t make sense.

Her chemistry with Miles Wei were very good. She was a lot younger back then and more flesh. In this drama, she is somehow skinnier, maybe is to be in the role of hardworking and over work, hotel manager.

Very good point. Most author would put element of their personal experience in their work. So TH seems to have suffer prejudice as a woman and there is this sad anti hero out there secretly protecting her but yet suffer. XL and TQ😅, prideful and prejudice by others, but at least I am glad that TQ will have a HE here.
