I am not sure which ep you have seen. Have you see their msg and how he allowed the other party to kiss him? So because of work necessity, you can allow the opposite sex to take advantage of you, such as kissing and spending time or even leading the other party on, that you reciprocate the relationship? If that’s not a form of cheating I don’t really know how you define that behaviour? It can be reasoned that he lacks boundaries, but even so, there is a line you won’t cross in relationship. When one already have a spouse, going outside and entertaining others using your “love” or “physical” gesture, that is betrayal in relationship.
I just want to do a brief analysis on Wang Guang Ming’s cheating behavior, and it should not be generalised to all cheating behaviour. WGM is a hardworking man who genuinely strives to do well in his work and want to give his wife a better life. He is shown to love his wife and their relationship appears stable and loving so why does he cheat. Because it’s to satisfy his ego. I do not doubt he loves his wife however having your junior throwing herself at you, admiring you, he caved and he probably thought it’s a secret that he wouldn’t need to reveal to his trusting wife. He can reasoned it as a moment of mistakes or impulse, but I also felt it’s a choice. One can always say “no” to such advances, whether it’s man or woman, we are not wired by only impulses, so the moment he felt he can across the line, he has already betrayed their love, so I can fully understand why XiaoRou is decisive in divorce.

It seems to have lost a bit of the element of surprise since we saw them in season 1. Hopefully it’s done this way for first 6ep to create a nostalgia effect, and subsequent ep will be better.
