So, it was all about choosing the type of family mess to live in, matriarchal or patriarchal one. None is depicted…
Agreed with your points. Whether is Xue Family or Rong family, they both have unfair treatment and unhealthy upbringing. The only slight positive point is that RSB is more humane and kind. I kind of felt that the last 6ep was a lost course from the main theme. Instead it feels like a mini family drama on its own. I would have wish the final arc, we get to see LJL’s style without RSB help, she is just an onlooker and supporter.🤷🏻♀️
Agreed with you on this. The last 6 ep. felt like a separate mini drama story. The last arc feels rather disjointed and over dramatic. But overall it’s a fun watch 8.5/10 for me too;).
Everyone’s talking about revenge, and I’m a bit confused. I thought he was just trying to figure out who was…
No you didn’t. But as latest ep., it seems to hint that he has some guess that the Pei who use to be his father’s business partner has something to do with the accident and causing his father’s death. So hence in this context, he is partly seeking revenge. But what I couldn’t really figure out is why is SML has so much hatred on ML.
Saw the preview for ep 15 and 16, a typical trope of c drama which I don’t like where ML pushing FL away because he wants to focus on revenge…hope it doesn’t drag to long.
Finally this has finished airing and I am 85% happy with all the stories and acting. Some stories on were in sector that I am not familiar with, so hence can’t relate. But love the realness of characters. I will think about what to write for review without revealing spoiler. Hope this drama get more recognition.
But what I couldn’t really figure out is why is SML has so much hatred on ML.

And we now know where the Butler went;).
