Yes, the last few ep was very enjoyable to watch the cat and mouse chase…I am impressed by the actor who played Xiao Hai.

I don’t think Landi’s(JiangCi) teacher is REN’s (Wei Zhao) Mom. Which ep are you in, didn’t want to give too much spoiler. In the novel, FL is a nobody, but some speculation said the script here made changes, possibility that she is some royalty but nothing have been revealed.

She is too naive, but with ML feeding her info. of Pei Yan’a scheme, she will get there.

And she is very smart and observant, will learn fast and grow.

At this point, every action of Pei is still for his own benefits, to gain credits and show Emperor that he can be re-instated again. None of his action is for FL.

Wow, the last few eps. we’re really action packed, with so much going on. Xiao Hai was indeed deep, a nice surprise revealed that he was the ultimate Xiao Ma Ge and he is the only person who has the formula to the special stimulants’ manufacturing, the rest were just his minions. So since the beginning he was always behind the scene controlling and manipulating every scenarios. His schemes were pretty brilliant, he really could have escape. But of course this drama is about good vs evil, and police may have causalities but they have to seen as won the final battle. ZB finally guessed the identity of XiaoHai and their final fist fights were brutal. Can see both fight for their beliefs, XiaoHai really wanted to escape and live, while ZB has to uphold his role as a police. So in the end the Halan drug syndicates were ceased and the team achieved their goals with only one member in coma. Impressive showcase of the police coordination, following orders and execution although with limited resources, everyone in the team, truly trust each other. It ended with a positive note where the narcotics bureau is set up with ZB being the leader. Teacher Gu also found his father’s ashes. A closure for all. Our hero ZB has both brain and muscle;)

Yeah, read from some novel commenters saying SML is quite a rascal and had a lot worst personality compare to what’s shown in drama. I didn’t read this one, just want to enjoy this drama;)

Yeah, I would rather she be like written in the novel as they shared, that in the original novel she has no hidden identity, just a girl the Yen’s sisters adopted and being caught in this situation.
