So now we are all waiting for ep 13-16, 4 more ep. So likely it’s going to focus on the leads hiding and then their secret relationship being revealed to their parents, their reactions and also finally on Mo Eum and Dan Ho’s relationship. Hopefully no more major twist or crisis for the CP.

Nice spot on their parallel behaviours, like mother like son. Although I wish the drama will soon give us PY’s growth arc and show us more layers of his characters, like him finding more meaning in his role/job, rather than just being obsessed with a girl.
And yes! Jeremy Tsui is great in this role.

Not really similar. There isn’t much focus on investigation of cases, rather it’s more on how a new team of police force gathered together and with their knowledge tried to infiltrate and capture the drug syndicates in Halan. There are some romance on side leads and lots of strong brotherly relationship. More action packed drama, less brain work.

I agreed with your points. There can be more to be explored on the story arc for the Zhang siblings. Guess this story is more about ZQL, so it just ended with the minimal closure for others and not much is follow through on the siblings. I do hope the Zhang’s sister has a normal life and Zhang brother may just be redeeming himself in his spiritual retreat for a long long time. I am actually interested to know whether will the trios really retired or will they make a comeback someday. And there are so many side stories of how Wu Xie resolved all the matters.

Have you finished this? I don’t want to give spoiler if you haven’t, may spoil your watching fun. End of the drama, this story did give explanation on what happened to the Zhang siblings. But yeah, I also don’t think Wu Xie will tell XiaoGe about the betrayal, it wasn’t shown, but looking at Wu Xie character’s arc, he wouldn’t as it’s not necessary also and no point causing more pain to XiaoGe on knowing about the betrayal.
