The relationships between Huang YaoShi, Zhou BoTong, Hong Qi Kong and Oyang Feng is quite interesting despite their differences, there are all high level martial skills expert in their area and there is this mutual courtesy and respect among them. This part is quite nicely portrayed in this drama.

I felt he like neither of them. He doesn’t really want Huang Rong to be married.

I really also don’t like this Huang Rong’s characterization 😤. Trying to like her but she has moments that really piss me off.

You mean HuaZhen? Yeah, in all re made, she is not very likeable as a character, partly the story designed her as spoilt and immature, despite knowing GJ don’t like her and treated her as a sister, she guilt trip him and insisted he still marries her. Not a villian, just not likeable 🤣.

My logical part will say: she will surely die, never a chance would she be able to dig herself out from that hole and still be alive, especially we saw how deep the hole was when FL was in it.
The illogical part that will be maybe SYR dug such deep hole but only buried her on the surface as we saw a scene where he bury her till he left her head in the surface and finally cover her up. So may be since he buried her superficially, she could wiggle her way out in the loose raining soil with a flute😅? I do wish it’s XH’s doing but story also tell us otherwise, but perhaps…

I feel that the previous version of YK is more sophisticated, this current version feels rather lack composure and loosing his sense🤣.

You mean Yang Kang? Nope not like this one, I watched 2017 version briefly but my favourite is the older version 1983, YK is complex character and not like the one portrayed here. He is more scheming, manipulative and he always seen as cold and composed, hardly shows his emotions. 2024 version makes him so dramatic and the psychotic part🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️, I am speechless.

Technically no. ML is loyal and only loves FL. He has someone he was betrothal to The Khan’s daughter but he was not interested and will break that.
The good thing is that she only appears in one ep.

Not his sister, it’s his sister in law. And he didn’t even bother to write to his brother to ask what happened and choose to conclude that JXB is the cause of the death😅 Makes him a silly man for his position.

Initially I suspected that he could be part of the drug smuggling business, but then after his conversation with SuoLou, I doubted he is the bad guy, he just seems out to make life difficult for JXB, but who knows. I am waiting to be surprised.

I am still wondering what’s the significant of the mask. And his character just seems hot headed and impulsive, not very smart. He is just out to make it difficult for JXB that is becoming lame for his role as the head of Jurisdiction Bureau😅.

When GJ is practicing skills, he will be in his zen space with dragons and when YK in dilemma, he will have multiple voices🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. I don’t know I can get myself to continue this😅.
