The main plot picks up a lot more pace after ep5. The Zonia flower is a poisonous flower that has cause many problems for people who used it and also hinted can control mind (maybe like poppy plant. lol). Anyway there is an illegal trade on this and ML is set to investigate. SY does have a high pitch voice but she is a good actress, spot on with her expression and chemistry with XIXi is also believable.

As usual not enough ep to keep them around and probably they think some sacrifices needed for the dramatic impact🤷🏻‍♀️. But you are right, it would be nice that they don’t have to both die, like Tong Er.

Yeah their deaths here is too quick and fast, they should be exposed and pay for their deeds being beheaded.

It’s a happy ending with good closure.

That was never mention at all in the last 4 ep., all forgotten and accepted that she found her way out. Period;)

Ep 12, PeachBlossom Island, Zhou BoTong is up, I quite like this actor.

So it ended as like the novel, HYM governs her own life and own happiness, she embraces everything that comes her way and she is happy. This drama ends with a strength perspective, a positive view on HYM’s choice, decision and experiences, in reflection, not really everyone can live as carefree and courageously like HYM, she is also fortunate to have many kind people around her.

Ep 40 lots of dramatic scenes, but I am just holding my logic and critics, glad that everything wrapped up nicely, with lots of sweetness from our CP, except the poor Great Zhao Princess being alone and his two best buddies.

Yeah, we have been pampered by good CGI, can’t really imagine why this drama’s CGI is bad😓.

The main ML is her brother, he has his own storyline and is a great support to FL.
FL has four boyfriends, she married the second one and has a daughter then divorced him. She met the third who is her soulmate but has terminal illness and passes away. Then there’s the last boyfriend who is a pilot that has yet appeared in current ep. In the novel, she ends up alone but wealthy and living her lifestyle she wants happily. The drama hasn’t end, so I am not sure whether will this drama has a different ending for her. Rumoured that she will have an open ending with her fourth boyfriend.
It’s a good drama of FL’s lead growth and her journey to understand love and discover herself. Enjoy!

Hi Evie! Definitely a good drama to watch with hubby. There is two particular scenes I like a lot: one is when drunken JXB looking closely at YNX and saying how he wishes to see her face and started to touch her face. Then it’s their wedding ceremony.😍😍😍

As the synopsis states “3 marriages and 3 separations”, so till ep 6, we have our first marriage and separation soon based on FL’s expression of being tricked by ML. Our ML, LYX in his elegant and flamboyant role suits him and so quickly already flirting with FL and making her lose her heart to him. Our FL, SongYi, smart and intelligent, is already heart broken. What an interesting CP, enjoying their cute interaction.
