I actually see it more of a gain for Lei Lei to do movies. Movies are not like dramas that an actor can take time to build the character, hence requires more experience, demands and skills of an actor to do movie well. A lot of c drama actors wouldn’t dare or have that opportunity to do movies. I felt it’s a good move for him, as he will definitely gain more international audience. Although I will miss him in dramas, I am excited for him to pick a good movie for viewers to enjoy.🤩

My wish of the ending will be after the villian is captured, ML status restored, and FL’s husband will divorce FL and give her freedom to live her life, so she can continue to be the night hero. ML will continue to help her as an officer and they will continue to have swoon scene. The end.

In the novel, very much will depends on the readers interpretation. The FL’s shyness is evident but the dodging part could be this drama director’s art direction to make the scene sweet. I agreed that when it’s done so often, it can take away the intended sweetness. If you missed earlier ep., they have sex on ep 22., so hence the drama shows the pregnancy scare. In the novel, they frequently has sex, and the pregnancy scare was part of the storyline.

It’s a very nice portrayal of true sportsmanship. One can be good friends, but also great competitors in their game of sports. A healthy message. I like how they admire each others’ strengths and strive to be with them and not just hold on to feelings of jealousy which we commonly see in other dramas.

From what I understand about YG’s character is that she is very shy and so protected from other males in her life that she really takes a long while to be comfortable with touch and intimacy, but ML understands her and take his time with her to build her comfort.

There were a short argument that resolved very quickly. The FL’s mom has prejudice over ML but will also be resolved peacefully.
