Just binged watched 8 ep. WOW! So much action, twist and brutal killing! Left me adrenaline pumping till the end, good closure. Always find Lee Dong Wook holds a charismatic yet melancholic charm😍. Is there really a season 2?

Finally watched this as it’s on Netflix, although didn’t get to watch on IMAX big screen, I am just so amazed by its production value, cinematography and the visuals. Kris Phillips is amazing here. Chinese production and crew normally will keep low key when they go oversea to film, this is to prevent chaos and fans from causing too many distractions. In one scene at the tram, 2 passer-by mentioned “how is this guy (ML) so handsome…” that’s really random and real passer-bys, unscripted, which the director decided to keep that scene there.

Watch their BTS, they are very funny and entertaining esp the chemistry between Lei Lei and ZJM and the brothers.

I feel because it’s an interpretation and translation issue. Some Chinese language can’t be translated literally as the meaning will be lost. I replied below on the statement about “How did you get so pretty?”, a more appropriate translation would be, “Why were you born so pretty.” I can’t recall about “to drown my sorrows”, which ep and part?

This statement is the translation issue. It should be “why are you born so pretty.” I wonder if it’s because it’s machine translated. In Chinese language the phrasing can mean different thing and not as literally the words.
