Wahahah…apology for the long rant, just realise that I wrote so much.😅
Thanks for assurance. Yup, I just caught up with ep 22. and agreed that FL is changing and learning empathy and also realised her own coldness, insensitivity to others. I feel that ML’s tolerance and gentleness is helping her to realise that too. Well, Love can change one’s perspectives.😍
I’m actually familiar with the FL from a drama last year called Wild Bloom and her character was very similar.…
I was wondering what cause FL to have memory lost. It’s like after her accident, she shuts herself away completely blocks out all past memories. Must be major trauma.
In China, hope neighbors don't start abusing their neighbor because they heard a rumor about her?that is something…
In smaller village of developing country, people still hold on to conservative views and strong judgement over moral rights. So can’t really blame the villagers as they are not really exposed.
Just some thoughts: I like the premise of how this story explore the possibilities of AI technology and automation can replace human interpreter. How often do one need emotions in translation and with enough data input into an AI machine, they can be as accurate capture of emotions and faster in providing a result. This has been seen in medical diagnositic world and even certain counselling therapy. However in profession that requires the basic human empathy and compassion or relationship and experience as part of the role, AI may never be able to reach to that level for roles that needed the warmth of human touch and compassion. As for the romance plot, if you watch enough C and k dramas, you will understand this troupes are not new and even for FL’s flaw character is not uncommon. But I guess for me, I would have prefer better story writing between the leads’ reconciliation and the individual characters’ growth of both leads, can be smarter in writing and made it more equal in growth. A lot of current plots, make FL seems petty and narrow minded and lack empathy because of her family issues, and make ML too perfect and tolerance. It’s the storyline that made her that way and definitely her struggles are really too small scale for viewers to empathize with her choice. But I believe FL’s character will develop and show the viewers more of her strength and softer side. That goes with all such plots of growth from fixation and rigid-ness to flexibility and moderation, learning to give and love. I really like CXX’s acting and I have no issues with Vic’s acting as she is required to be this role that suits her. Will continue to see how the plot progresses, it’s really not a bad drama.
I used Google translate and posted the results https://kisskh.at/photos/kAOzRd_3
It’s accurate except for the ‘dead brother’, it suppose to mean brothers that gone through near death experience’, that’s the relationship between Wang Bai Wan and Qiang Ge. Seeing this I am shock by Lao Lin/Uncle Lin’s relationship with FL’s father. And ML works for Nian Yong Cheng who is that irritating Senior girl’s father.
So let’s see, we have the hero, heroine, the hooligan, the clown, the damsel, the old guy and the fighter. Only three of them are useful and the rest are liabilities. lol!
Just completed the last ep. The Yang Si and his son’s story and plight really got me emotional, but I am glad YS has well deserved ending. So all the villians have their proper ending and sentence. What I learnt about this drama: 1) the portray of sacrifices for their profession as a police, eg. Zhong Li and Guan Yu. 2) Evil deeds can never escape the truth, karma will haunt them. 3) Some extreme choices one made for family or love. 4) Guan Yu is a very good police that is intuitive and sharp in his observation of things and people. He believe in YS, that’s and interesting friendship formed. There are definitely some loop holes in the plot that can be tighter. The suspense was good in the beginning but fall short in the end.
