Ep 27., FL’s family is filled with judgement, pride and prejudice. Relationships are build on poor communication and misunderstanding and lacks clarity. A misunderstanding can pull a parent-child relationship away for 30years. Such misery, it’s a good choice that FL’s mom choose to break away from such dynamic. The whole theme of ‘living under another shadows’ is so real, hence ML’s love transform FL’s perspectives to be real and no longer need to live in shadows. I am feeling more about this show is to rescue and transform FL’s journey.

Maybe…she also seems not a nice character, rather self centred and manipulative, so I feel she may have a role to mess up the team’s relationships.

Yup although we talked about different context. We are definitely noticing the same thing about ML, he understands her very well, I think even better than her understanding of herself.

This is a character flaw FL who learns to shut her emotions and very insensitive to others because of her experience with her maternal grandfather. But in this drama, the story will present as someone who knows FL very well and hence no matter how she push him away and cold towards him, he is able to see past that and noticed her love for him. Below some viewers are also not convince by her. To me. it just the design of an obsessive ML that also can’t let go of his previous love hence he will keep pursuing her and melt her heart. Watch on.

Yes, the previous ep., the Dr that examine them works for the gamin company which they found out later. Si they suspected he tempered with their results. The latest ep., they retook the scan and found chips. But I don’t understand how did Yang Ba Wan and Dou Dou have chips? Yeah, you need good sub to understand, fortunately I can understand Mandarin so can make up what they said.

When Lin Xi was wondering whether should they attend, ML highlighted that how her mother must have missed her grandfather as she used the same incense in her room. I felt that was an important reminder to FL and her making the decision to put forward the courage for her family. Ver subtle but because of his supportive nature, it has help her to work on it.

Of late I have been seeing a lot of extremely stubborn and prideful, as well as fixated type of FL that sometimes appeared so self-centered. I wonder why writers have been writing this kind of character arc. But I love how FL treat her friend’s dishonesty of destroying the pictures. How forgiveness can happen easily among good friends.

Very odd plot points that are not making sense:
1) why does Dou Dou needs to hide her identity?
2) they need to discuss in or out of the game, but thought the organizer will not let them out even if they wanted it?
3) Thought not all of them have chips, Yang Ba Wan and Dou Dou went in with the VR set right? How did the chips get into their head?
We have plots of school bullying, neglect parenting (Yang Ba Wan and Dou Dou parents are alike in some ways, should get together), and what more to come?

Ep 28, wow! QH have done all the boyfriend’s stuff for the past few ep., cook, sing, carry, shield the rain and bought all the sweet snacks for CY. He even brought along precaution for the work retreat, what is he thinking…lol! However how come CY’s nightgown is not flattering and not sexy, too conservative. 😅
