Actually i thought CXX style looks better here. I didn't like the way they style his hair in My Boss.
Totally agreed in this point about his annoying side burnt! Thought I am the only one. His side burnt is weird and feels unnecessary. I like the styling in My Boss. But watching both drama at the same time, the different looks will make me less confused. lol!
Here is a different CP dynamic. If one never noticed the FL’s age, she doesn’t really look that old and ML is mature looking. They do have chemistry here. But in this story, we are made to feel more for ML as FL broke up with him and she is still unaware of how important he is in her life. FL will grow. This plot may not be everybody’s cup of tea.
As ep progresses, she is seeing more of how he treated her different from other staff(protecting, defending her). She shows interest but would never dare too as he is not actually the approable and reachable type for her. He is starting to like her but not aware yet. So based on trailer, when he realised, he will chase her as he seems to be that type of personality.
In the drama, FL remembers a poem read to her by ML, my favourite too, Sonnet 21, Say Over Again… Say over again, and yet once over again, That thou dost love me. Though the word repeated Should seem "a cuckoo-song," as thou dost treat it, Remember, never to the hill or plain, Valley and wood, without her cuckoo-strain Comes the fresh Spring in all her green completed. If you like unresolved love reunited, with both casts holding stubborn, strong head, prideful personality and successful in their own ways. Their lack of communication, misunderstanding is the driven plot, till they discover they only love each other plot. I like it because the first 5 ep., has lots of tension between the CP and that’s interesting to watch.
If you like to watch a domineering, successful but sharp tongue ML who shows little empathy in relationship / social image that makes him good at his job. And a rookie adorable, naive, hardworking FL, who seems a door mat but yet she does have her own opinion about things and keen learner. ML have occasional insomnia and discover FL is his remedy. This CP slowly falls in love and impact each other. Then it’s fantastic watch, l love it. The first 10 ep., the CP’s chemistry is cute and sweet, their comical moments were interesting. Both casts are great actors too and for their roles well.

Yeah, she needs to learn to forgive herself too. Youth is the phase that we will make mistakes and make wrong choices. That will be a process to see her grow.

Exactly, as a new employee will not have the privilege to be choosy and she really have to find a way to manage her emotions and over involvement on cases or it’s going to be tough to be a family/marriage lawyer.
ML was angry as FL told him she won’t take the case. ML was disappointed as a rookie lawyer, he felt she can’t be choosy. Then he went overboard to project his anger on a small mistake made by his other staff (which is partly FL’s mistakes for compiling some wrong info. in another case). FL got scared and decided to take a few days off and stay in hotel as she felt she can’t face his temper. Then ML felt guilty and misses FL.

ML’s character does show concern for FL and he seems to understand her struggles and worried for her. However I feel he has trained himself as a lawyer to take on a ‘case’ perspectives and total cut off from the emotional attachment of each case he took; so he is trying to train FL that way. But I felt even as lawyer in profession, one can still choose what kind of cases one prefers to take up. And I felt it’s good that FL initially assertively refused, but it’s also a learning curve for her as a rookie lawyer, how does she choose to handle her emotions and with limited choices on cases.
