ML’s character perfection amplifies FL’s imperfection. Apart from knowing that FL loves ML, I wish this drama has shown some growth in her character. Loving someone is not about enduring another’s dismissive and disrespectful behaviour. For this story, I have the same thoughts as you, I prefer that ML learnt to let go and not hold on to ideal love and find someone who treats him better. But that won’t be a popular opinion here. lol!

My take…because this ML is written to fall deeply in love with FL’s character who is self centred and courageous to chase her own goals no matter what and push him to his potential. As ML said in latest ep., “loving a person means to also love her flaws”. And hence he is tolerance and patience with her because he sees from her gesture and behaviour that she does still love him (by helping him), so he just hold on to that perception of love and not bothered by her dismissive, and pout face look. lol! Well if you ask me whether in reality does this kind of relationship happens, I am going to say yes, as I see it among my friends, at times there isn’t a lot of logic around it.

This new one is dumber in character design.🤦🏻‍♀️

The moral of this story is that every villian is driven by their circumstances, motivated by their back story, whether it’s Wang Ping, Lin Xiang or Yang Si. What crosses the line is often our choices dictate by our moral compass.

Well, here is my interpretation based on the story and character design. FL behaves this way because she is fixated on how her maternal grandfather always rejects her father and her since she was young. Hence she finds it easier to rejects love and pursue her career, and easier task as she never knew love and acceptance (so that’s the flaw in this writing, she has been love by her parents and others, yet she focus on that one thing that she lacks off). So she felt it’s courageous to reject love and said ML likes her being courageous, as that’s always her way of pushing him and she knew him. I think that’s what the scene trying to express. Then She realised that ML knew her and has been patient and tolerance of her rejection which is not her innate needs. So he said later she needs more of his warmth and love. I feel it’s not very refine writing.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing! Just save it in my plan to watch list. Saw the clips, looks promising, with both leads being such eye candy. And yes, the relationship dynamic seems a lot better compare to his current two dramas. He needs better script and better pairing.❤️🤞🏻

Thanks for sharing your perspectives. I agreed with you too. Like you I thought it will be more equal dynamic with maturity but guess not. Continue this for ML too, can’t help feeling that he can get a better girl. Wahahaha…but the script would want them together. The storyline could have been better.

Probably that’s why without even a proper kiss, he is moving into trying to get FL to strip him and help him bath. Wahahaha.!!!

Ep 6, we have confirmation about the VR game, another exciting ep. This ep seems to be setting up a villian among them. I still wonder what’s the purpose of this game and how does the original players went in without wearing the headgear.? I think I know who is DouDou. More qns. How did Uncle Lim ended in the group and how did Qiang Ge’s group also in there?

Understand. Just felt some scenes can be treated better.
It’s true that C drama has so far not allowed high school relationship. You will noticed most of the relationship will only get together when they moved into adulthood.

Finally ep 19., relationship break through, FL melts with alcohol. lol! This character design for FL is a bit of an insult on others who love her and support her. She is successful and felt she put lots of effort into it and envy others who is talented. But didn’t realised that those who are talented also have to work hard. This character design really has a one sided perspective, that is very similar to her maternal Grandfather’s view and behaviour. She is fortunate to meet ML’s character who is designed to be almost perfect and willing to chase after her. It’s a flawed FL with perfect ML that will support her no matter what, hence maybe not everyone’s cup of tea.
