I watched those shows that were dubbed from Chinese to English diagloue or Japanese to English, I literally will always be laughing, as the diagloue can sound so weird, funny and out of contextš .

As a novel adaptation, my personal view is this so far for this year drama, gave the most complete and satisfactory adaptation in one season. Although they change some plots and some characters, it all make sense for this drama. ZLH has another grey role in āTiger and Craneā, but I dropped that because the storyline went way off. Totaly agreed with you on better shots for the kiss scenes. Some scenes, the director took 20 shots, and yet some kiss scenes still feel rather awkward esp. the cave scene, but I guessed itās meant to be forceful and awkward.š
I am waiting for Zhou Ye and TJCās modern drama. But will check out Liu YuNing - A Journey To Love, his new historical drama airing today?
I guess this is pretty popular outside of China because iQiyi has a Cantonese dubbed version Coming Soon!!!
