Watch first 4ep., it’s surprisingly quite good. I do watch a couple of medical drama, but this one got a good script and realism to the story which is applaudable so far. There is also a lot of veteran actors. ZWY is really good here, does his role well portraying a special needs doctor. I am excited to see more. Since it’s only 16 ep., it will be quite a nice refreshing series that is not focus on romance.
And I like the Korean version, so keen to see how they will this for C-drama.

Exactly, knowing his mom has sickness and winter coming, he didn’t consider at least getting people to check in her well being while he is away. But saying that I also don’t blame him as he is too single track mind, only focus on his mission and forgot his mom.

Agreed with you. I felt JXN’s mom behaviour is partly due to her own guilt of not knowing her daughter has been swop by her maid. So a lot of anger at JXN was more towards herself, but yet she is too prideful to face it and be honest with her self.

True, at the end Niao Niao’s mom reconciled with her, so wonder here will there be a reconciliation for them.

JXN’s mother really doesn’t know how to say good words to her own daughter. Then there is ZZ’s mother who loves her son so much, yet no one check on at her when ZZ is away. In a way, ZZ is not filial enough to remember to take care of his mom while he has to be away.

He knows how to comfort her and also indirectly hinting about himself. lol.

That’s the part that I feel the drama differ from novel. So very likely ZZ is not reborn.

It’s sad to see XW trying. But we got to know she has yet able to trust or believe in XW at this point in time. But agreed with you that I would thought the script can give JXN a bit of compassion towards XW’s attempt.

She will break up with ZZ. Whether ZZ is reborn, we still don’t know. I am still wondering whether the script here will change that part. But next ep., it’s JXN’s attempt to push ZZ away.

Good writing, well portrayed by actors and well filmed, with spot on dramatic effect on the emotions. Every ep has been great!
