He has this naughty side of him in my definition. 🤣 Did you see how he bully ZLH by snatching his bbq stick??!!! Already showing.

So here we have two beautiful, smart and intelligent woman, courageous too, one is respectful and trust her man vs another also smart, intelligent but the least respectful towards her man’s need. And yet this story will tell us that LiNi will ultimately choose the one, wonder what’s the motto here? That man loves challenging woman or love as first sight triumphs…lol!

I really think both sons take on the genes of the father only. The smart mom and the two sons just don’t feel like a family.🤣

I am in favour of LiNi making a choice for himself, he is smart to know he has to escape this pool of mess in the palace. Cui Lin’s idea that only Li Ni is suitable to be king is really such a huge sacrifice she wanted Li Ni to take, not considering for his feelings. At this point Gun Wan Ning seems to be more thoughtful for Li Ni and suitable for him.

hahaha…hence the author has a follow up tragic story of GMP. This is the beginning of suffering of the dynasty.

In a way, her perspective is similar to Sun Jin, thinking that they could be a better Emperor for the Dynasty, and not really giving Li Ni a chance to choose what he wants. And Li Ni’s character in this aspect is one track minded, settle and go back to LaoNan. It’s a joy for self vs a happiness for the greater good kind of perspective.

Agreed, the story is good and I like the acting too. It’s just a sad character.

Here is just a thought since people are discussing about ep 29/30 preview. If Cui Lin knew Li Ni so well, she shall just follow him back to LaoNan and let reality be the one to force him back to take the throne, and not let this affect their relationship…hahaha. I am playing screenwriter, if based on me, there will be no drama. lol!
