I have similar thoughts as you. If she remembers those behaviour from previous life, how come she can just easily forgive him and not fear him. It was explained that because she feels it was her manipulation of his love that made him a monster, and she truly believes he won’t be like that if she change it, which is what we see in her second life. But honestly if I was her, I would fear him more than XW because technically XW didn’t do anything that abusive to her except being an accomplice to YL.

I feel your annoyance, I seldom ffwd, but this part I totally ffwd it. And I noticed in preview, General Cui fake being sick and they still release LCF despite his behaviour. I am going to ffwd a lot of times for next few ep. lol!

Yeah, in recent ep 22, that 30mins of conversation btwn LCF and CL was a drag for me to watch. I was wondering, so it’s not obvious that this guy is obessed with you and repeatedly say those words and would harm your dad. lol. It has to run for 30mins. I only see it as allowing the actor to showcase his emotions, but I am bored. hahaha.

GMP’s ML is really one of the earlier ruthless ML that was so obsessed. Hence he has a SE.

That’s the interesting part about this story, showing from a perspective of what if a villian falls in love, whether it’s ML or FL. But if this type of grey character gets popularity, I am sure we will see more of such drama in future.

I just hope that their romance won’t be like quick and then end of drama…lol!

That’s one thing I like about this drama. The re-cap is as and when and they don’t overdo it. So keep you attentive, can not watch during sleepy days. Anyway, in first life, JXN only loves ZZ, she never know about XW’s interest in her, it’s only shown more in second life. Their romance is still slow burn as JXN is still fearful of him.

The airing schedule just changed this week. So there will be a break from Wed-Fri; next 2 ep releasing on Sat. Think we will have ep from Sat to Tues, then not sure will there be changes again.

This drama has a lot ‘safe’, conventional old school troupes, whether it’s from villian design to the romantic scenes. It’s because majority of audience love these type. Even for strong FL or ML with balance wits, I have seen better design characters, here at some scenes I would cringed, but that’s me, maybe seen too many C drama. Personally I preferred more subtle and realistic or make sense. However I am watching this for JT and XK, the story no longer surprises me.

The fake DingFei does have a sense of humour. And I like WXY cheekiness.
